4 Relief stream data summary

Pressure relief valves are installed on all major process equipment and the steam lines. A vacuum breaker
is also installed at the bottom of the reactor. Overpressure relief is activated if the pressure increases 10%
above the operating pressure (from a molar flow that is 10% higher than normal operation). The table
below shows the conditions of the relief streams:

*The decanter already has a venting system in place, but may also overpressure because of a temperature
excursion leading to production of higher vapour phase. This will give different compositions depending
on the temperature.
