Abrasion Resistant System
Intraloxs Abrasion Resistant System employs patented
technology to solve the costliest, most persistent convey-
ance problems in tough fruit and vegetable receiving
applications. By eliminating unscheduled downtime,
reducing scheduled downtime, and increasing belt life,
the Abrasion Resistant System has saved plants hundreds

Problem
Dujardin Foods is one of Europes leading producers
of frozen vegetables, herbs, ingredients, and ready-
made meals. In the paddle washer applications of its
largest production plant, Unifrost, Dujardin Foods
suffered from short belt life, high preventive
maintenance, and belt contamination issues with
stainless steel belts and other modular plastic belts.
Solution
Unifrost replaced the outfeed conveyor belting on
eight paddle washers with an Intralox solution
designed to excel in dewatering applications and
provide a durable, easy-to-repair solution that

Oerlemans Foods supplies freshly frozen vegetables,

fifty countries. In one of its plants, the company
experienced many problems with its blancher belt,
including frequent breaking modules, excessive

Solution
Oerlemans worked with Intraloxs team of special-
