EXT. NATIONAL DAY PARADE - DAY

7 Things That Were Different This National Day
1.) It's indoors
MAKCIK and PAKCIK are watching parade together. Both wearing
red and white and waving Singapore Flag. Makcik starts
trying to fan herself with flag.
PAKCIK
What in the world you doing?
MAKCIK
It's so hot lah. Indoor still so
hot!
PAKCIK
It's Singapore, what you expect?
MAKCIK
I thought will have aircon ke, fan
ke.
PAKCIK
You think this hotel ah?
Makcik continues fanning herself, Pakcik shakes head.

2.) A Young Band sang the National Day Song
The Band is singing in the background. Makcik and Pakcik
don't seem impressed.

guitar, drums all...
PAKCIK

Background voice announces that the parade has ended. Makcik
and Pakcik look shock.

4.) No Tank Displays and Jets
Pakcik starts to yawn.
MAKCIK
Abang, please. Cover your mouth
later fly go inside.
PAKCIK

tanks, no jets, so boring!
MAKCIK
Alahai, later the concert segment
confirm fun.
PAKCIK
