Terms & Conditions for Victoria Cliff Hotel & Resort (KawThaung)

Reservation Policy

All room reservations must be made in advance and directly with Victoria Cliff Hotel &
Resorts reservation office in Kawthaung by email (victoriacliffmyanmar@gmail.com) or
our Booking system on the web site.

No Reservation is confirmed without a Confirmation Code, which guest can get after
making deposit to VC Hotel & Resort.

Amendment of Reservation is not allowed, the existing reservation must be cancelled and a
new reservation should be made under a new name, subject to allocation quotas, cut-off
dates and all other reservation policies.

Check in & Check out Time

VC Hotel & Resort check in time is 2:00 pm and check out time is 12 pm. Requests for early
check in & check out will be handled upon room availability on the day requested.
VC Hotel & Resort will accommodate guests luggage in a secure location until the guest
room is ready.

Late Check out Fees

Guest can request for late check out during the reservation and consideration will be given
based on the hotel needs.
Otherwise, unauthorized late check out will be charged as follows:
Between 12:00 pm -4:00 pm, additional USD 30 will be charged.
After 4:00 pm, late 1 night charge of the prevailing rate for that room type.

Child Fares Policy

Compliment for child below 12 years sharing room with the parents without extra bed
(Room only).
Meal rate for children at 5-12 years half prices from adult rate, to those under 5 years are
FOC.
Compulsory New Year Gala Dinner on every 31 December of the year for all in-house
guests.

Child 5-12 year USD 24 net per person

Immigration and Boat Transfer Round Trip Tour Escort / Guide Room Rate
Thai Baht 400 net per person 1500 Baht net with ABF

Foreigner USD 20 net per person

Re-entry Fee

Nationalities requirements and ViSA status. Chinese, Taiwanese, Indian, Arabian, etc.

Payment Terms

Total reservation value for every booking need to be received fully as deposit once the
reservation is confirmed, unless prior credit arrangement has been made with the Hotel.

Payment of all invoices must be made to the hotel in USD only. If payment is made in other
currency, the hotel shall reserve the right to convert the payment at the prevailing hotel
exchange rate of the day of the payment.
If the guests check out earlier than the confirmed date, VC Hotel & Resort reserves the
right to charge equivalent to the full room charge for the period reserved.
The Hotel may extend a credit term to the Tour operator, subject to prior approval of the Hotel
Credit manager.

Deposit Policy

A one-night non-refundable deposit may be requested by the Hotel at any time without
advance notice should the Hotel expect high occupancy or full house.

Cancellation Charge Policy

Cancellation has to be made by e-mail to the Victoria Cliff Hotel reservation office
Cancellation fee on the total value of the reservation for each room will be charged as follows;

Within 1-7 Days prior to arrival, 70% of the total reservations value will be charged
Within 8-14 Days prior to arrival, 50% of the total reservations value will be charged
No Show with in 24 hours prior to arrival will be charged 100 % of the total reservations value.

Complimentary Room Policy

For every 10 rooms paying-guest the hotel will provide A-one Half Twin our compliment.

Non-receipts of deposit and payments

If the above mentioned is not adhered to, VC Hotel & Resort reserves the right to cancel
any room reservation being held, without any right of claims.
Guests check in from online booking reservation will be required to present the Receipt or
email confirmation sent by the Victoria Cliff Hotel and Resort upon arrival check in at the
hotel. Otherwise Guests will be required to pay for their accommodation and any other
received chargeable services and extras upon check out.
We accept two kinds of credit cards Master, Visa Card, Union Pay, JCB for International
and MPU for local as well as payments in cash United States Dollar (USD) or in Myanmar
Kyats.
Others

No Pets are allowed in Victoria Cliff Hotel & Resorts Premises.

Betel nuts are prohibited to chew around hotel area and spitting betel juice will be charged
10 USD.
VC means Victoria Cliff throughout this terms and conditions policy document.
