OBJECTIVE & PURPOSE

To earn a Master of Education degree in Instructional Technology, with an online teaching endorsement from
Kennesaw State University.

I know it is through education that my students will make a better life for themselves and their families and in
order to do so, they must stay in school. Through my classes of computer coding, I have seen the excitement and
renewed spark of commitment and determination to continue their education. If my classes can help reach some
of these students and give them that, then I can know success.

I want them to know that their education is something that will serve them well and no one can ever take that
away from them, therefore I desire to reach higher myself in order to gain the tools that will help them not only
today but all of their lives through the knowledge and education of computer science and technology that I so
much enjoy and benefit from.

Taught 7th and 8th Grade Computer Science at Eighth Street Middle School.

2013 - 2016 JT Reddick Middle School, Tifton, GA
Taught 6th Grade mathematics at JT Reddick Middle School.

2007 2013 Ben Hill Middle School, Fitzgerald, GA

Taught 7th Grade mathematics at Ben Hill Middle School from 2007 - 2010. From 6/2010-8/2012 I stayed at home
with my newborn twins, Ella and Lana. I taught 8th grade math during school year 2012-2013. I also taught PLU
sessions on the Promethean board for the IT department of Ben Hill County Board of Education.
Technology Instructor

Was selected by the IT Department of Ben Hill County Board of Education to conduct a class at the iTeach
technology seminar for teachers of our school system and those from surrounding counties. My class was on how to
use ActiVotes to enhance the learning experience in their classrooms. During this same summer I taught a Windows
Movie Maker class at WGTCs Summer PLU Camp.

Computer Lab Administrator

2006 - 2007 Wiregrass Georgia Technical College, Fitzgerald, GA
Taught Microsoft Office at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College formerly known as East Central Technical College. I
was also the computer lab administrator for their off-campus site at Delphi where I assisted their employees in the
computer lab, taught Microsoft Office classes, and offered individual instruction as needed. During this time I also
prepared one of Delphis employees who successfully passed the math portion of the GED.

INTEREST
I have five children, four daughters and one son, ranging in age from my twin daughters that are six to my oldest
daughter that is fifteen. I attend Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church. I enjoy playing the piano and guitar, working
on my computer including creating and maintaining our church website, and spending time with my family.
