Introduction Introduction to AMOS

Basic building block of a Managed Object Model is an MO. PM Attributes: Info and Stats Getting KPIs
Parameters associated with MO are called MO attributes. They are categorized as
Printing PM counters list for Utrancell class only (RNC) > pmr
1. Configuration Management: Stored permanently e.g. administrative state > pmom Utrancell
This command produces list of available KPI reports.
2. Fault Management: Not stored permanently e.g. availability status Important reports include:
Printing description of a particular counter
3. Performance Management: Not stored permanently e.g. pmNoReqDeniedAdm > pmom utrancell pmTotNoRrcConnectReqCsSucc 1) RNC Node Traffic performance
MOs are organized in a hierarchical structure. Below, string at the left is known as MO Class and
Displaying a counter value during the last ROP 7) RNC UtranCell RRC Performance
at the right is MO Identity. Classes can have more than 1 subclasses.
> pmx UtranCell=SCCLU02217 pmNoRrcReqDeniedAdm 8) RNC UntranCell Speech Performance
Equipment=1 Class Identity Displaying counter values during last 3 hrs. 10) RNC UtranCell PS Data Performance
> pmx UtranCell=SCCLU02217 pmNoRrcReqDeniedAdm m 3 12) RNC UtranCell HSPA Performance
Subrack=MS 13) RNC UtranCell IRAT Performance
Displaying accumulated counter value during last 1 hr
Slot=19 > pmx UtranCell=SCCLU02217 pmNoRrcReqDeniedAdm m 1-a 15) Worst 20 Cells for RRC Failure Rate
16) Worst 20 Cells for Speech RRC Fail Rate
Getting Started Getting States of MOs 17. Worst 20 Cells for PS Failure Rate
CM & FM Attributes
Launching AMOS: 18) Worst 20 Cells for Speech RAB Setup
Printing state of all UtranCells in an RNC Displaying all CM & FM attributes (params)
WRAN Explorer: Tools AMOS > st UtranCell > get UtranCell=SCCLU02217
19) Worst 20 Cells for PS RAB Setup
Login using RNC Name or IP address 20) Worst 20 UtranCells for Speech DR Contribution
Printing state of cells with prefix SCCLU Displaying value of a specific attribute
> moshell CLMASCPQRNC >st Utrancell=SCCLU 33) UtranCell Availability Report
> get Utrancell=SCCLU02217 CPICH
Accessing AMOS via Telnet Printing state of a particular MO Stats during the last 3 hrs.
> Telnet <OSS IP Address>, Then launch AMOS Displaying more than 1 attributes > pmr m 3
> st Utrancell=SCCLU0221 > get UtranCell=SCCLU02217 CPICH|qQualMin
> moshell CLMASCPQRNC001
Printing state of all disabled utrancell MOs Stats from 5 hrs ago and 3 hrs from there on
Loading & Unloading MOs Displaying value of RNC level HO params > pmr m 5 -p 3
> lt all > st utrancell dis > get handover
> lc all Printing state of the channels Stats during an absolute time span
> lu all
Displaying Operational State >pmr s 20080908 e 20080909
> lst utrancell=SCCLU02217 >get UtranCell=SCCLU0001 OperationalState
Loading MOs of a particular class Printing state of RU (cell level)
> lt utrancell Getting current no. of Radiolink (Cell) Fault Management
> st RU (RAX, TX, FU) > get radiolinks Overview of active alarms

Data Storage: Changing Parameters >pget t1 Print active ack and unack. alarms
By default data is not stored by AMOS. Changing CPICH of a cell No. of T1s and their state separately
Following command saves the logs. > set Utrancell=SCCLU00018 PrimaryCpichPower 310 > st t1 > alk
