Question 8 (8 marks)
A car manufacturer produces two types of vehicles: cars, at $30,000 each, and trucks, at
$60,000 each. Problems with a supplier limit the availability of three key components A,
B and C to 350, 1,000 and 150 respectively. Each car uses one A, two B and three C,
whereas trucks use 3 units of part A, 4 units of part B, and one C. Calculate the output for
cars and trucks that will maximize revenue.
