Marco offers a comp ete line of sma I beautiful lumina res designed exclusively for the new standard
vo tage MR16 larnp, the 120 vo lmin series.

The 120V MB16 amp shares severa major characterist jcs with the Low Voltage MR16 lamp in-
c uding a tu ngste n-haloge n f lament, and a drchroic reflector. The dichroic ref ector projecls a tlght-
y controlled beam of color perlect light wh le d ssrpat ng the heat through the rear of the amp
rather than on the subject. The 120V MR16 lamp however does not need an integra transformer, so
the f ixture size can be kept extremely small and the price can be kept small too. Also, the MR16
120 volt is an ntermediate based lamp lor easy amp changing and maintenance.

Marco offers the standard voltage MB16 lamp in e ther 75 or 100 watts in the 120V m ni-serres w th
a cho ce of narrow spot, narrow {lood or I ood opt ons for a "Just Right" beam spread and ntensily.

Marco's Low Voltage track fixtures are leading the way in today's
mini-track lighting design. These fixtures emit a maximum amount of
light from a micrGsized lampholder because they employ the
revolutionary 12V MR16lamp. The MR16lamp has an intense white
beam and transmits nearly all heat through the back of the lamp,
while using only 12 volts to conserve energy. All of Marco's Low
Voltage mini lampholders come with external translormers for a
striking High-Tech look and are easily mounled to a standard 120
voll track to fill any accent or task lighting needs.

SINGLE CIRCUIT ACCESSORIES
Marco offers the slngle track accessories
needed lor popular track applications. A
wlde variety of power entries and
conneclors accomodate the specif ic
dlrection and power feed requirements of
any installation. Marco's pendant kit
enables the track to be suspended 18"
from ceilings; and T-bar ceiling
accessories, a special junction box and
easy-to-use mounting clips, further
broaden Marco's appllcabilitY.

Marco's power feeds and track connectors

have asymmetric littings to ensure
continuous polarity. As an added feature
(lllustrated at left), all of Marco's flex
connectors, "T" connectors, "X"
connectors. "L" connectors as well as a
straight conneclor have power feed
options and can work in conjunction with
Marco's canopy kit Jor attractive
installations. Various power feeds include
an end power feed, floating canopy feed,
end chassis feed for conduit and a cord
and plug feed.

MARCO
 TRIPLE CIRCUIT TRACK
Marco's triple circuit track expands the options available
in today's track lighting. Inside a stngle track rail are 3
separate 20 amp circuits providing up to 60 amps of
electrical power. Each circult can be dimmed or
switched individually lor maximum flexibility. Marco's
triple circuit track can be used where both task and
accent lighting are needed and the design theme or
budget recommends the use of only one track rall.

Marco's triple circuit adapler (shown below) adapts a lof

Marco's beautlful 120 volt luminaires to our triple circuit
track system. The triple circuit adapter is unlque in that
rt connects to all of the clrcuits inside the track, and by
Flal buss bars adlusting the circuit selector, all 3 circuits are available
for dependable eleclrica

 PHOTOMETRY: MEASURING THE PROPERTIES OF LIGHT
Successful Track lighting requires attention to lamp type and output, beam spread and color intensity
as well as the position of the lampholder. The fol owlng pages contain lamp data, ncluding lamp type,
beam spread, average lamp life and color temperature in degrees Kelvin as well as recommended
aiming ang les.

A major aspect ot ighting is lamp output, which is measured in footcandles. The formula shown below
and the charts on pages 29 through 34 provide the required information Ior the measurement of
footcandles al any point desired.'

Determining the position of the lampholder is important {or Position

effective task or accent lightlng. To determine the track rall
position at a prescribed angle, measure the distance from the
center o{ the object to the ceiling (polnt A to point B n F gure
A). lf a 300 aiming angle is desired, check Chart 1 for the
positlon of the track rail away from the mounting surface (B to
C) at the dislance measured. For example; if the distance from
the center of the object to the cei ing is 4 leet and a 300 alm ng
angle is desrred, Chart 1 shows that the track rail shou d be
positioned 27 inches from the wa L Wjth the ampholder aimed
at the center of the object, a 300 a ming angle has been
realized. Charts 2 and 3 are available for Jlnding other a ming
angles, although a 300 angle is recommended for better g are
control and greater shadow definitlon.
