Position Purpose:

The People and Culture function sits within the People and Organisational Capability Portfolio. People
and Culture is responsible for developing and implementing people strategies focusing on equipping and
enabling our people, to create an engaging and high performing work culture that enhances the
contribution and connection to Dental Health Services Victorias (DHSV) mission, vision and strategic
objectives. The People and Culture team works in partnership and collaborates with our stakeholders to
deliver high quality and innovative services and projects on HR strategy, employee engagement, change
management, health and wellbeing, policy and practice.

As part of the People and Culture Team, the Recruitment Consultant contributes to the development of
our overall vision of becoming a great place to work by delivering best practice, end to end talent
acquisition solutions for DHSV.

Role Accountabilities:

Advice hiring managers on the talent acquisition process to ensure DHSV aligns with best practice
sourcing, recruiting and selection methods and the right fit candidate is selected
Develop and implement an effective candidate management strategy that ensures a positive candidate
experience
Build and manage an active talent pipeline for critical clinical roles to support workforce needs of the
organisation as we transition to value-based healthcare
Support talent acquisition activities behind the organisations Workforce Plan including key strategic
initiatives such as the Aboriginal Employment Plan
Develop and implement innovative and cost effective talent attraction strategies that align with
DHSVs employment value proposition, using the most effective channels including industry
associations and universities, employee referrals and social media to ensure the organisation is seen
as an employer of choice in oral health
Conduct the shortlisting process through phone interviews using behavioural interviewing techniques
to ensure that candidates shortlisted for the next selection and assessment process are aligned to the
organisations culture and values
In collaboration with the HR Improvements Officer, continuously review myRecruitment ensuring up
to date information and templates are maintained that supports managers ability to select right fit
candidates
Support the HR Advisor in managing the content management system for the online careers page

Knowledge: Experience:
