Cartiere Miliani Fabriano papermills have always been sensitive and attentive to the environ-
ment and have been active to lower the environmental impact of its production processes. As evi-
dence of this commitment in 2008 was put into operation the new biological water purifier.
In order to enhance this investment, one of the most important facts with this aim in the Italian paper industry,
Cartiere Miliani Fabriano papermills have decided to commission two major artists the decoration of the peri-
meter wall of the sewage plant (about 250 square meters). A single large project that represents both verbally
and visually the themes of interest: ecology, environmental protection, purity of water and air. The central
elements of figurative decoration recall two symbolic subjects: a mermaid, a magical being and mythical
symbol of unity mixed with grace, clean sea, pristine environment, mix of different forms and challenge for
nature; a water flame, prodigy of nature, the incredible come true, the astonishment, the magic, the contrast.
The Fabriano Artistico paper is mould made with 100% cotton, chlorine and acid free, guaranteeing long conservation
and inalterability over time.
The paper is sized both internally and externally, making it ideally absorbent and retaining its nature unaltered even it
scratched. Brillant white, without optical bleaching. Two deckle edges and watermarked FABRIANO+ARTISTICO on
the short side. The high quality and ample offer of this paper satisfies the requirements of all professional artists and the
most demanding amateurs.
Ideal for watercolour, tempera, gouache, acrylic, ink, charcoal, graphite and drawing. It is also suitable for printmaking.
