Track A – Specialty Panels

Track A will be providing the overall, macroeconomic view of the growing cooperation between North America and Greater China.
With panel discussions with professionals working directly in the heart of cross border business, delegates will receive the most up
to date information about its trends, opportunities and challenges. Track A will also be featuring a panel from governmental groups
throughout North America that will provide information on the industries in their regions, the various subsidy programs as well as an
in‐depth overview of North America’s cooperation with Greater China.
Track A will also feature a Focus Session on the Life Sciences and Clean Technology industries of Israel and highlight promising
companies from the country that may hold opportunities for China Partnering Forum delegates.

Track B ‐ Resources Sector (9:30 AM – 4:30 PM)

As the financial crisis of 2008 runs its course in North America, promising resource companies have faced increased difficulties in
finding the financing to move their projects to the next level. Greater Chinese companies are well capitalized and are seeking
potential investment opportunities in Canada and abroad. Track B of the China Partnering Forum will be focusing on providing the
latest in‐depth information about the synergies in the Resources Industries between North America and Greater China.

Track C ‐ Life Science Sector and Clean Technology Sector (9:00 AM – 5:10 PM)
Audience – 50
As North American companies strive to develop the cutting edge of life sciences technologies and products, the current market
environment has made it necessary for them to seek alternative means to push their projects to the next level. Greater China has
presented increasing opportunities for the life sciences industry and companies are seeking information on the capabilities of
Chinese firms and the regulatory implications of working with China. The morning of Track C will provide delegates with the latest
information on the Life Sciences sector in regards to the growing number of partnerships and interaction between North American
and Greater Chinese Firms. Topics will range from practical partnerships with Greater Chinese firms to corporate transactions and
will also feature topics on pressing issues in this field such as Intellectual Property protection and FDA/Health Canada approval.
Likewise, the Clean Technology industry has experienced increasing exposure in the growing markets of Greater China. With China
facing increasing pressures to modernize its infrastructure, the country’s private and public sectors are looking outward to North
America for new ideas and technologies. The afternoon of Track C will provide North American companies with the opportunity to
build exposure with Greater Chinese delegates from the public and private sectors while giving in depth coverage of this exciting
new industry.
