Magic Squares

A Magic Square also known as a matrix is a 3x3, or 4x4 square that is divided into smaller squares. Each
of the smaller squares contains a number that is horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. Each row of numbers
should all add up to the same total. If they do not then you did something wrong. Depending on the size
of your Magic Square will determine how many combinations of numbers will be needed.

In the example below we have a 4x4 with 10 different combinations with 103 being our Magic Number.

43 25 23 12
13 13 30 47
26 40 20 17
21 25 30 27

To solve a magic square you will need to do the following steps:

1. Identify the size of the square, being a 3x3, or 4x4.

2. Choose the correct amount of consecutive numbers.
3. Add all the numbers in each column.
4. Once you have the same number for each column you then divide by the matrix number
depending on which matrix you choose.

P.S- A matrix will always contain a pattern of numbers. Once you have found that pattern you
will be able to solve the matrix.
