This assignment is regarding the mini survey of nivea, so I


have done a survey of 30 people and asked them question
about the product. The survey is done, to know about the
need of consumer and where company has to work to fulfil
the needs and demand of the consumer.

Inference after survey

1. As the segmentation for a survey is mostly young


people, there age is between 18-30.
2. According to the survey we can see that every one
is using facewash, as we can see the response in Q1
3. In Q2 people we can see that out of 30 people 12
people say yes
4. In Q3 we see that out of 30 people 5 people think
using facewash is not necessary.
5. In Q4 we see that out of 30 people 6 people think
that packing is not durable
6. In Q5 we see that out of 30 people 9 people think
that cost of Nivea facewash is not relevant

Segmentation Targeting and Positioning


(STP)

Segmentation
Segmentation involves finding out what kind of consumer
with different needs exit. So according to the survey we see
that almost all young people love using facewash. So they
want different type of facewash for example pimple
facewash, fairness facewash and many more. NIVEA have
different type of facewash so people love different types of
facewash.

Targeting

Targeting the customer according to the segments we made,


targeting the customer according to the segments of market
is very important.
Nivea has targeted mostly to young people because
college student are more concern about there skin, so they
targeted the young group of people.

Positioning

Positioning means how you put product infront people.


Positioning involves implementing the product and
positioning it into the market according to segmentation and
targeting. Has the target market is young people they, Nivea
positioning there facewash infront collage campus, so they
can attract them .
Conclusion
In this assignment we learn how to do market survey,
according to that how to do STP. This assignment gave a clear
idea how company do survey and how they target the
different types of people.
