Teacher self-reflection and self-evaluation:
1) How did the students find the ICT tools? Were they boring? Did they get distracted easily?
2) How did the students perform in pairs? Should I as a teacher have dictated the order in which the students will sit
in?
3) Was their enough information provided to the students? Were question asked about further information?
4) Did the students fin the overall content interesting?
5) Were the students engaged? Did all students feel comfortable? Did all students contribute to class discussions and
group work?
6) Was the lesson easy to follow?
enable them to be able to deepen their understanding on the specific Google Maps
landform they may be investigating.
- The use of Google Earth and Google Maps will be incorporated in the
Google Cardboard virtual reality tool.
As the students are exploring they are given a set of focus questions that
will allow them to complete the next task.
Focus Questions:
1) It is changing? If so why is it changing and what will it look like in the
near future?
2) How is it managed?
3) What is its significance? E.g. to Indigenous Australians?
15 mins As students gather their information and explore the virtual reality, they
will be reminded of the video presentation digital tool Slidely. Slidely:
It will be instructed that the students must use Slidely to create a video http://slide.ly/?
that must then be put onto their digital poster. utm_content=header_logo
-Students will be given time to create a video from what they see in the
virtual reality tool and then time to also incorporate it into their digital
poster.
