Dear Dr. Moore,

I am applying for the English Language Arts Teacher at Lindenwold High School or Middle
School in your district for the 2017-2018 school year. I have earned my Bachelors of Arts degree in
Literature where I received distinguished honors for my senior thesis. Currently, I am enrolled in the
Alternate Route Program at Stockton University where I will finish my coursework at the end of May. I
have my Certificate of Eligibility for K-12 Literature and am presently applying for a CE in Elementary
Education after my Praxis exam at the end of July. I work for Our Lady of Mount Carmel Regional
School as a Fourth Grade teacher. Previously, I have worked for Our Lady of Mount Carmel Regional
School and St. Joseph High School as a long-term substitute. I am interested in Lindenwold High School
or Middle School because I want to educate all students to become independent, life-long learners, critical
thinkers, and confident, caring members of their community. Furthermore, I want to build an academic
environment which values excellence and diversity.

I believe that it is important for students to learn the new technology and method of differentiated
instruction that approaches us in education. As a Fourth Grade teacher at Our Lady of Mount Carmel
Regional School, I have implemented the use of technology and differentiated instruction on a daily basis.
By using interactive technology such as a SmartBoard and various educational apps, I have taught
students that the curriculum can be a progression from traditional learning to creative learning with
todays technological advancements. Differentiated Instruction is key to fulfilling maximum potential for
all types of students. I have had much success using groups during ELA. Furthermore, I have focused on
word processing skills using Microsoft Word, proper use of the internet, and I introduced them to,
Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint programs.

I have enclosed a copy of my resume, which provides you more information on my background,
education, and experience in teaching. Outside of my teaching experience, I do have many years of
experience in the coaching field, which has allowed me to gain communication and organizational skills
with high school students by providing them discipline, a hard work ethic, and a grit attitude through
training and competition. Currently, I am the girls assistant basketball coach at Lindenwold High School
under Mr. Shane Flannery. I feel that my teaching experience at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Regional
School, along with my professional background, would make me an excellent fit for the English
Language Arts Middle School position.

I would love the opportunity to make a difference in the Lindenwold school district. If you should need
to contact me, I can be reached at (609)413-3255. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Noel Vadino
