The eldbus-ready eld devices are connected through
the ACF11 (ALF111) installed in the FCS I/O module
nest. Field devices data is stored in the PI/O image
area in the ACF11 (ALF111) and sent to the PI/O image

Fieldbus Engineering Tool
Specications
The Engineering Tool is used for eldbus engineer-
ing, such as dening a part of ACF11 function and Upload parameters View setting
eldbus compliant eld devices. It runs on a per-
sonal computer connected to a control bus or HIS for Ethernet
builder in the CENTUM CS 1000/CS 3000 systems;
it runs on a personal computer connected to the E
net/Ethernet of the CENTUM CS systems. With HIS HIS for
the tool, the users can graphically dene a devices Builder
parameters, inter-instrument data connections, the Control Bus
sequence and period of data connections.
The tool also has the function to send the settings to
the CENTUM CSs builder and read the les auto- FCU
matically on the builder.
