INUP Familiarization Workshop on Nanofabrication Technologies at IIT Roorkee, Uttarakhand

27-28 April 2017

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are pleased to announce that, jointly with INUP@IISc Bangalore, IIT Roorkee is organizing an INUP-sponsored
Workshop entitled, INUP Familiarization Workshop on Nanofabrication Technologies at IIT Roorkee,
Uttarakhand, on 27-28 April 2017.

This will be an event where faculty members from IISc-Bangalore, IIT Bombay and IIT Roorkee, work together to
spread among researchers in the Uttarakhand, awareness of the expertise and competence in Nanoelectronics
available at the Centre for Excellence in Nanoelectronics established at IISc, Bangalore.

This state-of-the-art national facility at IISc will be made available through the INUP to academic researchers in
India for conducting research projects in the broad field of Nanoelectronics. Thus, the Workshop is expected to lead
to many new R&D initiatives and project proposals to INUP from Universities/Institutions.

The Workshop will have technical features designed to benefit PG/Research level students and faculty members.
During the various lectures/presentations, participants will have opportunity to obtain clarification on various
aspects of Nanoelectronics, such as how to fabricate a device that has been designed, how to test devices, etc.

To encourage wider participation, the organizing committee has decided not to charge any Registration Fees.
However, due to limited capacity, participants will be registered on a first come, first served basis. Limited travel
grant for participants will also be available for travel by Bus/Train (AC 3-Tier) by the shortest route. Expenses for
local conveyance will not be reimbursable.
