1. SUBJECT
This specification is part of the contract and covers the minimum requirements for:
• The installing and assembling on the site of the equipments delivered by Waterleau or by her
suppliers, as described hereafter,
• The installing and connecting up on the site of all instruments delivered by Waterleau or by her
suppliers, as described hereafter,
• The delivery and installing of all electrical power and signal cabling for connecting up of all
electrical devices, following listings in enclosure,
• The delivery, installing and connecting up of some small switchboard panels,
• The delivery and installing of all electrical tracing cables, following listings in enclosure,
• The delivery and installing of all accessories such as connection boxes, safety switches, etc., as
described hereafter,
• The delivery and installing of all supporting structures and protections for cables,
• The delivery and installing of the complete inside lighting as described hereafter,
• The complete testing of motors and instruments,
• The assistance during starting up of the waste water treatment plant,
• The unloading, handling and/or temporary storing of electrical panels, equipments, instruments and
other elements on the site,
All items are destined to the wastewater treatment plant of Sun Interbrew in Omsk Russia, and this strictly in
accordance with the technical and general conditions mentioned in the specifications below.
2. DOCUMENTS
The electrical installation will be strictly in accordance with following documents:
• The present specification,
• The P&ID in enclosure:
- Nr. 1.114-01-01 rev. 8
• The listings in enclosure of:
- Electric components
- PLC In- and Outputs, rev. 2
• The wiring diagrams of main switchboard delivered by WL- WILL BE SUBMITTD LATER,
• The layout drawings for electrical components, nr. 1.1114-09-01 and 1.114-09-05 in enclosure,
• The connecting and/or mounting prescriptions, if any, from the supplier of the equipment,
• The civil formwork drawings in enclosure (on A2-format), nrs:

3. DENOMINATION
4.1. GENERAL
4.1.1. WORKMANSHIP
The CONTRACTOR declares to be in possession of the required recognition to execute the work and to be
registered as a CONTRACTOR in the required categories.
By any means the electrical installation shall be in accordance with general quality standards, regulations and
good workmanship.
The CONTRACTOR shall provide the necessary skilled workers to do the job and in sufficient numbers to
reach the final date.
4.1.2. PERSON IN CHARGE
For the duration of the works, the CONTRACTOR shall designate a person in charge of the site, who will be
responsible for:
- the quality of the execution,
- the respecting of the time schedule,
- the maintaining of discipline and hygiene,
- the observing of the safety regulations and site rules,
- the liaison with the local representative of WATERLEAU.
Therefore, this person has to speak the ENGLISH language fluently.
4.1.3. SITE FACILITIES
The CONTRACTOR shall provide:
- all necessary tools, scaffoldings, etc. necessary for the execution of the job,
- all cranes, lifting gear or other, necessary for handling and putting into place of equipments,
- the necessary barracks for his personnel or sheds for pre-fabrication and/or containers for temporary storage
of materials.
- the approval by the Owner or the Electricity Company of the applied materials and presentation of material
certificates if asked for,
- the cleaning of the work site after completion and removal of all surplus materials, rubbish and other
residues coming from his job.
Following utilities will be put free of charge at the disposal of the CONTRACTOR:
- Electrical power supply, 400V three-phase and 220V mono-phase, 50 Hz
- Water for sanitary purposes
The CONTRACTOR shall provide the necessary local distribution panels and flexible cables and hoses to
connect to the main supply point on the site for electricity and water.
4.1.4. COOPERATION ON THE SITE:
The CONTRACTOR has to cooperate with third parties on the site: civil CONTRACTOR, mechanical
CONTRACTOR, etc.
Under any circumstances, he will not hamper or slow down the execution of the works which have priority
such as civil works and piping installations.
If he causes damages to works or equipments of third parties, the CONTRACTOR shall be held responsible
for all repairing costs.
4.1.5. RECEPTION OF EQUIPMENTS
All equipments enumerated in this chapter are delivered by WL on the site, on truck, unloaded.
WL will deliver a detailed, itemized packing list of each delivery.
If equipments or materials are delivered in containers, these remain the property of WL but can be used as
temporary storage room for the duration of the works.
It is the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR to unload the equipments and to put them in place or to store
them temporarily in a safe place.
After reception on the site, the equipments and materials remain under the responsibility of the
CONTRACTOR.
The CONTRACTOR makes sure that the equipments are protected and secured at all times.
All packaging material must be removed from site by the CONTRACTOR. Waste bins for waste material
must be foreseen by the CONTRACTOR.
4.1.6. AS BUILT FILE
All documentation will be in accordance to Inbev specifications.
Calculations for cables, trays have to be submitted for approval.
As built file are to be made in accordance to Inbev specifications.
4.1.7. LANGUAGE
All communication between the CONTRACTOR and WATERLEAU will be in ENGLISH.
All documents to be handed over at the final reception of the works will be in ENGLISH and if possible in
RUSSIAN language.
All labeling of panels will be in RUSSIAN language.
4.2. MOUNTING & CONNECTING UP OF EQUIPMENTS DELIVERED BY WL
4.2.1. MAIN SWITCHBOARD
WL will deliver the main switchboard on the site, on truck, unloaded. The panel, length about 6,00 m, height
about 2,00 m, depth about 0,50 m, will probably be delivered in 1 element
The CONTRACTOR will:
- put this panel in place in the control room from the technical building and
assemble the different parts.
- connect to this panel all incoming and all outgoing power and signalling cables to
the provided terminals.
4.2.2. SECONDARY SWITCHBOARD
The remote pump pits (pump pit rain (BUF 03.00.00 and BUF 04.00.00) and pump pit brewery (BUF
01.00.00)) will use a separate switchboard. WL will deliver the secondary switchboard on the site, on truck,
Following instruments will be SUPPLIED, mounted and connected by the ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR:
Three flash lights: LEQ 15.00.81, LEQ 16.00.81, LEQ 17.00.81
Three horns: KLA 15.00.80, KLA 16.00.80, KLA 17.00.80
4.2.7. MOTORS
Are delivered with the equipments and installed by the MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR.
The electrical connecting up will be done by the ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR.
Motors are enumerated in the list “motors & feeds” and also in the list “electrical components”.
4.3. DELIVERY, INSTALLING AND CONNECTING UP OF ELECTRICAL CABLING
4.3.1. GENERAL
All cabling and accessories will be delivered and installed by the CONTRACTOR, in accordance with
following documents:
• the list of electric components,
• the equipment list,
• the motor & feeds list,
• the instrument list,
• the valve list
• the layout drawings of electric components
• the wiring diagrams of panels,
Single running cables will be supported in the straight sections by stainless steel conduits.
Instrument cables will be laid separately from power cables.
All cable trays, ladders, supports and fixations are included in the scope of supply.
They will be in appropriate material, withstanding any corrosion ( stainless steel, plastic).
Plastic fixation ties have to be black.
Inside tanks, which are PE-lined, all trays, supports and fixations are in plastic material.
4.3.2.3. Cable trenches:
For cables running underground, all appertaining works are included, such as excavating, cable protections,
marking strips, filling-up of the trench, compacting, eventual surface repair works, etc.
Underground cables will be laid at a depth of 0,70 m.
4.3.2.4. Drilling of holes in concrete walls, floors or decks
When cables have to pass through concrete walls, floors or decks, the openings will be drilled.
When openings have to be made through concrete walls or decks, which are at the inside PE-lined, the
CONTRACTOR has to repair the perforation of the lining. In this case, a PE-pipe will be used for passing the
cable(s). The repair at the inside can then be done by welding a piece of PE to the pipe and to the PE-lining
by extrusion welding.
For all drilling work the contractor shall have a work permit from the Waterleau representative on site.
After installing of the cables, all openings will be filled up airtight, and in accordance with required fire
resistance .
4.3.2.5. Galvanic protection:
Direct contact between stainless steel and galvanized or carbon steel will be avoided. An isolation layer
between them will be provided.
When welding, grinding or cutting works have to be executed near stainless steel material, covering them will
protect the latter.
4.3.2.6. Bolts, nuts and washers:
- Metric, according to DIN.
- Bolts, nuts and washers shall be in stainless steel.
- Inside lined tanks, above the water level, plastic material will be used.
4.4. ADDITIONAL DELIVERIES AND INSTALLATIONS
4.4.1. LOCAL SWITCHBOARD PUMP PITS BUF 01.00.00, BUF 03.00.00AND BUF 04.00.00
The CONTRACTOR will:
- Install a new panel in the room besides the pump pits.
- Supply and connect the power cable for the cabinet.
- Supply and connect al cables for the pumps and instruments.
- Supply and connect cable for the power connection from the local room.
• Outside part of line 198-DS-Ø25 between NaOH-storage tank and balancing tank, to keep the
temperature above +10 °C.
• Outside part of line 183-FC-Ø25 between FeCl3-storage tank and feeding channel LUCAS reactors,
to keep the temperature above -5 °C.
SEPARATE PRICES
The CONTRACTOR shall give separate prices for following deliveries and works. These prices are not to be
included in the lump sum price for the electrical installation.
4.4.5. POWER FEEDER PUMP STATION
The CONTRACTOR will give a separate price for the power feeding of the pump station.
The installation will comprise:
- The delivery of the power cables, 3-phase + neutral +earth (3x400 V +N + E), power to transfer
about 160 KW, length about 120 m.
- The making of the trenches and appertaining works,
- The connecting on both sides.
4.4.6. FURNITURE
The CONTRACTOR will give a separate price for the delivery of each of the following furniture, to be put in
the office:
1) 1x Metallic office table, about 2 x 0.90 m, with on both sides a chest of drawers.
2) 1 x Rolling chair, in height adjustable.
3) 1 x Metallic filing cabinet, about LxHxD = 1.60 x 2.00 x 0.40 m.
4.5. COMMISSIONING
After completion of the installation and before putting into service, partially or totally, all cables will be
tested.
Following tests will be performed by the CONTRACTOR:
- Insulation test of circuits,
- Insulation resistance measurement of electric motors by means of a mega ohm meter,
- Checking of the correct rotation of motors,
- Checking of the correct adjustment of thermal relays,
- Checking of the correct functioning of limit switches, float switches, proximity switches,…..
- Attending to the gauging of instruments,
- Assistance during checking of device operation,
- Checking of the identifications of the cables and terminals
Upon completion of the works the CONTRACTOR shall hand over to WATERLEAU:
- Certificates of material quality if applicable,
- Test reports,
- List of “as built” corrections or deviations made to wiring diagrams or listings.
During the commissioning and the starting up of the wastewater treatment plant, the CONTRACTOR shall
provide the necessary technical assistance.
Finally, an official acceptance of the electrical installation will be held in the presence of representatives of
the OWNER, WATERLEAU and the CONTRACTOR. From that date, the guarantee period starts.
4.6. ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE CONTRACTOR’S SCOPE OF SUPPLY
• The delivery of equipments, mentioned in list of equipments,
• The delivery of valves, mentioned in chapter the list of valves,
• The delivery of instruments, mentioned in the list of instruments,
• The delivery of the main electrical switchboard,
• The design and making of wiring diagrams,
• The mechanical installation such as mounting of equipments, valves, in-line instruments, etc.,
• The tagging of equipments and valves,
• The delivery of electricity and water on the site for installation purposes or testing.
5. DELEVERY TIME
The execution of the contract is provided within the period:
Start : First of May 2007
End of works : End of June 2007
In any case, the CONTRACTOR shall finish his job before the end of July, on which day the waste water
treatment plant has to be started up.
Therefore, the CONTRACTOR shall provide enough manpower on the site during normal daytime hours in
order to reach that goal. Overtime hours to overcome delays will not be paid out.
6. PLACE OF DELIVERY
The place of delivery is:
Sun InBev Omsk.

7. GUARANTEE
The guarantee period is twenty four (24) months from the date of start up.
During the guarantee period, the CONTRACTOR remains responsible for any break down due to bad
conception, bad workmanship, minor quality of materials, faulty construction or assembling, abnormal wear.
All costs for repairing, i.e. materials, man-hours, transports, etc., are at the expense of the CONTRACTOR.
Excluded from this guarantee are break downs due to normal wear and depreciation resulting from the
utilization of the equipment’s for their purposes, or by non-observing by the OWNER of the instructions
given by WL or her SUPPLIERS in their operation and maintenance manuals.
The guarantee period will be extended with a period equal to the interruption of the operation.
In case of break down the CONTRACTOR guarantees an intervention within 48 hours after notification.
9. TERMINATION
The PURCHASER may terminate this Agreement at any time by giving not less than 30 days notice in
writing to the CONTRACTOR.
In the event of such termination, the PURCHASER shall pay CONTRACTOR an amount equal to the total
cost (including profit element) incurred by CONTRACTOR up to and including the effective date of
termination under the above-mentioned notice provided that the total amount to be paid shall not, under any
circumstances, exceed the Contract price. Such payment shall be in proportion to the amount of Works that
has been completed by the CONTRACTOR and shall constitute full performance of this Agreement by the
PURCHASER. After receipt of such payment, the PURCHASER shall not be liable to CONTRACTOR for
any further payment pursuant to this Agreement.
In the event of any failure of the CONTRACTOR to comply with the provisions or requirements of this
Agreement (including failure of CONTRACTORS sub-CONTRACTORS) the PURCHASER shall promptly
notify CONTRACTOR of such failure and request that CONTRACTOR comply.
If CONTRACTOR fails to comply within a period of 21 days of the date of such notice or if
CONTRACTOR becomes insolvent, or goes into liquidation (except for the purpose of reconstruction) the
PURCHASER shall be entitled to terminate this agreement without prejudice to any other rights or remedies
the PURCHASER may have and shall be relieved from any further obligation to the CONTRACTOR below.
A waiver of one default shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent default.
10. PRICES
The total price will be a lump sum price.
Nevertheless, the CONTRACTOR has to fill up the price lists hereafter, with unit prices and subtotals, in
order to check the composition of the lump sum and as a basis for calculation of possible supplements.
Unit prices will include all works and possible deliveries as described in the paragraphs above.
All prices will be expressed in EURO.
The prices include all costs, insurances, charges and duties up to the site, with exclusion of the VAT.
All prices are fixed and firm for the duration of the contract and neither subject to any revision nor to
currency rate adjustments.

11.1. INVOICING
Invoice terms are as follows:
- At the end of each month, a state of progress will be made, mentioning the deliveries and works
executed that month, and sent for approval to WATERLEAU.
- After approval, the CONTRACTOR can make up his invoice.
- From each invoice, 10 % of the amount will be deducted and kept as guarantee till the finishing and
acceptance of the works.
11.2. PAYMENTS
The terms of payment are as follows:
- 90 % following the monthly lists of survey.
- 10% at the acceptance of the works, against an acceptable and unconditional at first demand bank
warranty of a first class Belgian bank for the amount of 10%, which covers the length of the
guarantee (24 months after start up).
