Major Roles

Director: Scott Beardsell

Definition: the director is in charge of everything he decides what music is chosen and
where the camera is placed ECT.

Definition: the producer is someone who makes sure that everyone is in there right
places and their in charge of the paper work.

Director of Photography (D.P.): Scott Beardsell

Definition: the chief over the camera crews working on a film" television
roduction or other live action piece and is responsible for achieving artistic
and technical decisions related to the image.

Editor: Scott Beardsell

Definition: A film editor must creatively work with the layers of images, story,
Dialogue, music, pacing, as well as the actors' performances

Camera Operator: Scott Beardsell

Definition: someone who records images that entertain or inform an

audience.

Minor Roles

Assistant Camera (A.C.): Danny Roach

Definition: responsible for focusing and refocusing the camera lens as Actors move
within the frame of each shot.
Assistant Director (A.D.): Danny Roach

Definition: tracking daily progress against the filming production schedule, arranging
logistics, preparing daily call sheets, checking cast and crew, and maintaining order on
the set. They also have to take care of the health and safety of the crew.

Art Director: Scott Beardsell

Definition: someone who is responsible for the visual style and images in magazines,
newspapers, product packaging, and movie and television productions. They create the
overall design and direct others who develop artwork or layouts.

Casting Director: Scott Beardsell

Definition: the person responsible for assigning roles in a film or play.

Location Scout: Scott Beardsell

Definition: often negotiate legal access to filming locations.

Production Manager (P.M.): Scott Beardsell

Definition: They report directly to Producers. They work closely with all other heads of
department to ensure that productions run smoothly, meet deadlines, and stay within
budgets.

Screenwriter: Scott Beardsell

Definition: a person who writes a screenplay.
