Objective To obtain the position of Resident Life Director within Erickson Living where I
can apply my education, 7 years of resident life experience and strategic
leadership abilities to ensure the best quality of life experience in the industry
for the residents of Erickson Living.
Create, support, and manage daily operations of all resident and employee
fitness programs. Programs include 3 onsite fitness centers, aquatics center,
and educational programs and services throughout the community. I develop
and manage the department budget and plan and develop the capital
expenditure budget for the Wellness Department and coordinate capital
improvements. I have developed and promoted whole person wellness
programming through education on the 7 Dimensions of Wellness and make
appropriate referrals to other professional services thus promoting the
continuum of care for the residents of Wind Crest. I am an expert
communicator with experience bringing together diverse departments to
develop cohesive programming for the residents of Wind Crest. I drive
financial strength and strategic growth within the Wellness Department and
community at large through a focus on cost, productivity, and quality of
programs offered. I attend monthly New Resident and New Employee
Orientations. I am a member of the Leadership Development Committee and
play an active role in the planning and execution of monthly Leadership
Meetings under the guidance of the Associate Executive Director. I provide
Mindfulness Stress Reduction education for the leadership team of Wind Crest.
Awarded a mission moment of the year that was shared at the Annual Erickson
Living Leadership Meeting in Baltimore 2017, for assisting a legally blind 96
year-old resident participate in a 5k.

Maintain records and statistics regarding all residents and employees involved
in fitness programs and promote retention. Preform Senior Fitness Testing,
Balance Assessments, and education on the safe and correct use of fitness center
equipment. Provide personal training and group exercise instruction to
residents and staff.
