tiempo.
Abstract:
Fish are of great importance in the world's aquatic ecosystems, and are a food
source for man. As all living things need oxygen to be able to live, but the breathing
mechanism in the fish is different from that of the living beings of terrestrial means
of life since the environment that surrounds them is aquatic. In many types of fish
this process is due to gills. They are the respiratory organs formed by thin sheets in
whose interior is a large number of blood vessels. Obtaining oxygen through the
gills in the fish varies according to the species (anatomy) and inhabits where they
develop. This whole process is very interesting because of the shape of the fish to
obtain oxygen from the water, which shows the level of adaptation that they have
reached in their environment over time.
