affected and impacted the


global culture positively?

Overview
Social media is the major method of communication in the modern society
connect people from all over the world together
create a widespread of different cultures
Past: people got the news from the newspaper
Now: people got their news from the television, minute by minute via the internet and social
media
Effective platform for sharing, exchanging and engaging
Allows interaction from all over the world
Cultural exchange and diffusion may occur
In our project, our group explores the advantages and
disadvantages that social media has on
the global culture

In conclusion, social media has affected and impacted the global culture in a
positive manner greatly. It improved the interconnectedness of the world and
bettered globalisation. Despite some of the minor flaws and drawbacks, social
media has an immense influence on the worlds culture, from ordinary citizens
to business and industries.
