Organized and implemented several special community events for Kevin Flynns Constituency Office
which included: Ontario Senior Symposium, Canada Day Celebration, Community BBQ, Emancipation
Day, and Midnight Madness. Responsible for ordering and distributing promotional materials, booking
speakers, food and beverages, coordinating volunteers, developing and managing booth events and
liaising with the public during the event.
Organized and implemented the Ontario Seniors Symposium in Oakville which included obtaining
guest speakers, marketing and advertising the event to the public, and all logistical aspects of hosting
a public information session.
As a Constituency Assistant, I undertook casework on behalf of Constituents. This included ongoing
communication with the constituent, seeking information on behalf of the constituent and case
resolution. Have a comprehensive understanding and contacts with different government services and
Ministries.
Administrative duties including note taking during meetings, briefing, taking photos of Mr. Flynn with

ORGANIZATIONAL DIRECTOR ORPHAN DRUG SYMPOSIUM
Event took place with the goal to make youth and public aware of the lack of funding for Orphan Drugs in
Canada. Invited panel included MP John Oliver, member of the federal Health Standing Committee, Dr.
Wong-Rieger, CEO and President of the Canadian Order for Rare Disorders. Planned and organized all
aspects of this event including leading a team of advocates. The event received national and international
media attention. Attendees from across the province.

Earned over 200 hours of volunteering for my community service hours in High School. This included work with
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton as a Special Events Volunteer. Worked on various campaigns including:
gift wrapping, 3 on 3 Basketball, Bowl for Kids Sake, etc. Each position required working with the public in
a communications role as well as duties assigned to the event.
