TOPICS

TOPIC 1: Learning English is not easy to adults who have to work hard and get a lot of pressure
from work and family. In a group of 3 or 4 people, each talks about his or her own problem in
learning English, gets sympathy and advice from the others in solving those problems.

TOPIC 2: You are in charge of interviewing 3 students who are going to do community service
in the summer. Make sure the students understand the purpose and benefit of the work as well
as their preparation for good health before joining the campaign by asking to confirm and
answering their questions.

TOPIC 3: Two HUTECH students come to the Foreign Language Centre to register for a review
class for English B1 Test. The official gives them consultation with necessary documents and
answer their questions until they comply with all the formalities.

TOPIC 4: A member in your group is going to study abroad, so the 4 other members discuss the
place to hold a parting party. At last, all reach to the agreement after some argument and
persuasion.

TOPIC 6: Discuss in a group of 4 to choose the best leader in your class. Suggest 2 candidates,
talk about his/her personal qualities, persuade the others to share your opinion and give
examples to illustrate your ideas.

TOPIC 7: Imagine you are in the meeting and want to give your criticism about the new design
of the product- the cause of customers complaint recently. The other 3 people in the group also
express their different opinions in a softer way to avoid conflict. End the meeting with the
agreement of choosing the best solution for the problem.
