Professional Experience:

(Nov/2016 till Mar/2017) Logistician in Wau, South Sudan (The International Committee of
the Red Cross ICRC).

A/ General Logistics
Be the point of convergence in the sub-delegation for all logistics activities, ranging from the
timely provision and supply of goods (Supply Chain Management), to warehousing activities,
reporting and statistics and fleet management.
Manage and coordinate the logistics activities and staff, Ensure that the logistic system are
in place and operational.
Provide accurate statistical reports to the HQ.

B/ SCA + Procurement Management


Procurement of goods and services for the sub-delegation.
Imply financial/logistics rules on procurement procedures.
Putting in place and maintain proper R/O and P/O procedures.
Issue selection tables, communicate and getting approval from logistics coordinator on
purchases.
Exceeding the financial competences. Prepare P/O files for transmission.
Provide administration with all required documents for accounting purposes.
Supervise 1 logistics assistant, 1 purchaser.

C/ Warehousing and statistics


Supervise the activities in the various warehouse set-ups in Wau sub delegation.
Plan and forecast effective management of warehouses, assets and HR.
Ensure that all stocks are kept tidy and clean in accordance with ICRC guidelines, Account
correctly on stock movement, prepare statistics and effect regular inventories.
Supervise 1 store keeper and 1 store helper.

D/ Fleet/Transport
Compose and enhance agreements and transport contracts for commercial transport and
provision of fuel.
Supervise the mobile Mechanic in charge of all fleet issues and its team composing of 2
mechanics and 1 head of mechanics, the car dispatcher in charge of all operational
movement along with close supervision of 30 land cruisers and trucks drivers.

E/ Human Resource Management


Assess current situation of the Logistic Department, identify areas requesting improvement,
training and coaching, organize a plan/timeline for bringing the Logistic department up to
desired level of autonomy.
Identify HR needs to allow the Logistic Department to be fully functional, in line with the SD
needs.
Organize recruitment and training of new manpower.
