celebrated. 1956 happened in

explosion, tragic
event that
generated ruins,
loss of human

city. The
authorities
decided the

organize a fair as
an opportunity to
overcome the
tragedy and an

economic revival.
The first fair
included the
exhibition and
sale of
handicrafts,
footwear, leather
goods, among
others. Over the
years the festivity
was taking on the
greater
importance as the
reason to visit the
city by the part of

tradition of the
