THE REPERCUSSION OF REJECTING GOD'S WORD.

First Bible Lesson: Luke Chapter 19 verse 27

"But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hi
ther, and slay them before me."
Second Bible Lesson: Mark Chapter 16 verse 16
"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not sha
ll be damned."
Golden Text: Acts Chapter 3 verse 23
"And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, s
hall be destroyed from among the people."
Brethren, this is meant to show, the Word of God is a two-edged sword. The other
day, you were told, everyone must hear His voice. And right now it is said, eve
ry soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the peo
ple.
That is why, I continue to tell you, you do not realize the place you are; and a
ll the inhabitants of the world do not know, what was written about Him.
There is neither juju nor mermaid, neither ghost nor apparition. It is He alone
who exists. Ask yourself if you have accepted His reign. If you have accepted Hi
s reign, have you done what He has told you? Because this is the statement He ma
de: "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, brin
g hither, and slay them before me." (Luke Chapter 19 verse 27).
The whites have a saying, to advance forward is the fear of death, but retreatin
g is death itself. If we complain, the Word of God is too difficult for us to pr
actise, it means, we have accepted death. Let all the inhabitants of the world k
now today, whoever would not practise the Word of God, such a person has perishe
d.
That is why, He says: He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which i
s filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteou
s still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly
; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (R
evelation Chapter 22 verses 11 and 12).
This is the judgment, He has passed on to the world. It is said, those who love
Him will rejoice a great deal on that day. But there will be great mourning for
those who hate Him. When you say, you do not need Our Lord Jesus Christ; and, yo
u are not prepared to practise the Word of God, it then means, you are lost.
If anyone, white or black, male or female, young or old, poor or rich, spirit or
angel, rock or wind, fails to practise the Word of God, I do not say, he will p
erish but he has perished already.
He has said, whoever is not with me is against me; and whoever does not gather w
ith me scatters abroad. (Matthew Chapter 12 verse 30). What do you think of a fo
rnicator or a drunkard, a necromancer or an idolater; where do you think they st
and?
Whether you call yourself a wizard or a mermaid, a juju or a ghost, the fight do
es not end with falling your opponent. You say you belong to Satan. You do not g
o to church, and you do not believe in the Bible. Does it end at that?
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the ruler in heaven and on earth. If there is any place
as Hades, He is the ruler. He is the ruler in the depths and heights. The sun,
the moon, the stars and the constellations are ruled by Him. He alone reigns ove
r all. What He shuts, no person can open. What He opens there is no person to sh
ut. (Isaiah Chapter 22 verse 22).
You have heard what is written in the scriptures: "But those mine enemies, who w
ould not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me."
He has instructed you to refrain from all manners of sin, and to love one anothe
r but you refuse. The implication of your refusal is, you love destruction.
We are told to show the expression of love to everyone. If you refuse, it means
you love death; and that is the cause of all the problems besetting the world. A
ll those who forsake the Word of God: be they the government, the church, the co
mpany, the school, black or white, young or old; have reached their wits end.
Do not beg any person to worship God. Go forth and preach this gospel to all inh
abitants of the world. Whoever believes and is baptized shall be saved, but whoe
ver does not believe is damned.
That is why, no matter how you pray and fast, you can avail nothing. When you kn
ow the provisions of the law, but you deliberately violate them, this is deliber
ate sin. What you are being told now is what was written some four to five thous
and years ago.
It was said to Adam and Eve, they should eat of all fruits of the trees in the g
arden, except the one in the midst of it. Since they disobeyed and ate the fruit
, they were cut off. It is because we reject the Word of God, we are beset with
problems, sickness, affliction and death. This is the cause of your poverty and
tribulations. If somebody tells you, you are troubled by juju, mermaid, or witch
craft; such a statement is erroneous. There is neither angel nor witchery which
is troubling you. As long as you reject the Word of God, you are worthy of death
.
He also spoke to the Israelites saying: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me
. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image... Honour thy father and thy mo
ther... Thou shalt not commit adultery or fornication..." (Exodus Chapter 20 ver
ses 3 to 17, Deuteronomy Chapter 5 verses 7 to 21). The Israelites refused, and
for this reason, twenty-three thousand of them died in one day. They died in tho
usands.
The scriptures tell us, we should not tempt the Lord as some of them also tempte
d, and were destroyed by serpents. (Numbers Chapter 21 verses 5 and 6, Deuterono
my Chapter 6 verse 16). Neither murmur we, as some of them also murmured, and we
re destroyed of the destroyer. (1st Corinthians Chapter 10 verses 9 and 10). Now
all these things happened unto them as an example, and they are written for our
admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
If, when Pharaoh was told to let God's people go, he obeyed, he would have occup
ied the throne till today. (Exodus Chapter 7 verses 1 to 13). But because of his
insubordination, he was destroyed together with his army.
If King Nebuchadnezzar had listened to the voice of God, and had hearkened to th
e handwriting on the wall, he would not have turned into a beast. (Daniel Chapte
rs 2, 3, and 4).
If the world of Noah had listened to the voice of God, they would not have peris
hed in the flood. (Genesis Chapters 6, 7, and 8). What further sign do you need
in order to be convinced, whoever does not accept His reign must be cut off?
If the citizens of Sodom and Gomorrah listened to His voice, they would not have
perished. (Genesis Chapter 19 verse 24). They would have continued till today.
If Lucifer had listened to the instruction of God, when He was commanded, all th
e angels should worship His first begotten Son, he would not have suffered the s
hame he is suffering today.
When you read, (2nd Peter Chapter 2 verses 4 and 5), you will hear of, those ang
els, which sinned, and were cast down to hell, and delivered into chains of dark
ness, to be reserved unto judgment. Whether you are an angel or a spirit, a man
or a tree, a demon with ten heads or whatever you may claim to be; if you do not
hearken to the words of God and practise them, you will be cut off.
It is a great pity for those who say, they do not know Our Lord Jesus Christ, an
d they are adherents of other religious tenets. They are to be pitied indeed. It
is a great pity also for those who claim, they belong to Satan, and they do not
know what is called God. It is a pity for those who claim, they are the governm
ent in power, the lords and kings of the earth.
It is a great pity for the so-called millionaires and the thousandnaires, who cl
aim to be the monarchs of all they survey, and there is none other. It is a grea
t pity for the scientists, the doctors, the lawyers and the learned men who clai
m, they are everything and that God does not exist.
It is a great pity for those who say, it is a waste of time to go to church beca
use God is not in existence. They think, they can fornicate and drink because Go
d does not exist. They are in a pitiable state of life.
What you are seeing in the world today is the beginning of sorrows. The Word of
God has never touched down on the ground without effect. When it falls down on t
he ground, it breaks mighty rocks, rises up and accomplishes His will.
Be not ignorant of this one thing, one day is with the Lord as a thousand years,
and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise,
as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that an
y should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2nd Peter Chapter 3 ve
rses 8 and 9). At the fullness of time, whether it is fire, angel or man, whoeve
r does not listen to His voice, will be cut off from among the people.
God does not rejoice over the death of the wicked but He wants them to come to r
epentance and be saved. (Ezekiel Chapter 18 verse 23). God is ever-loving to His
creation, and so He does not wish any should perish. That is why, He continues
to send His word from time to time.
If the world of Noah had listened to the voice of God, they would not have peris
hed. If the inhabitants of the world today, were to listen to the voice of God,
there would be no problems in the world. You complain, there is no oil, no money
, and you complain of everything; these are nothing at all, they are the beginni
ng of sorrows.
God chastens the son whom He loves and scourges every son whom He receives. (Heb
rews Chapter 12 verse 6). It is said, "ye have forgotten the exhortation which s
peaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of th
e Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chas
teneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth." (Hebrews Chapter 12 verses 5
and 6).
Endure tribulation that it may act as chastisement unto you. For what son is he
whom the Father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all a
re partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
Go to Europe, go to America, go to the United Kingdom, go to Asia, go to Persia
and Russia, go everywhere, inside the water, on the cliffs and valleys, you will
witness the same thing because the whole world has forsaken God.
You remember what the prodigal son did? All the inhabitants of the world constit
ute prodigal children. When the prodigal son collected his part of the inheritan
ce, he went and squandered all in riotous living, and there arose a great famine
and he was in trouble. When he came to his senses, he asked what he was doing w
hen even his father's servants were very rich for food. He decided he was return
ing home and when he got there, he would tell his father, he was no more worthy
to be his son because he had sinned against heaven and against him, and he shoul
d take him as one of his hired servants. (Luke Chapter 15 verse 21).
This parable belongs to all the inhabitants of the world. Our Lord Jesus Christ
is the first-born and till eternity, he is the first begotten Son of God. All th
e inhabitants of the world are the second son. When you put together all the ang
els, the trees, animals and human beings, Our Lord Jesus Christ is still the fir
st born.
Brethren, can you now realize the situation? Come back home, O! Wanderer; your F
ather is looking for you. Nigeria, Africa and Western world, nay, the whole worl
d, come back to God because He is your Father, and is looking for you.
We have to listen to Him, submit to Him and obey Him in order that we may have p
eace. Observe the number of things happening. As it is in Nigeria, so it is in I
ndia, or in America and in other places including the deep waters.
Is this not enough indication, you should warn yourself? This is the ark of Noah
. Who is ready to come in? It is said, the end shall not come until this gospel
of the Kingdom is preached unto all the world. (Matthew Chapter 24 verse 14).
You remember how he told Noah to build an ark. Noah did not know what it was mea
nt for and no person knew either for what purpose the ark was built. Only God kn
ew. He allowed Noah to preach for a hundred and twenty years, but they continued
to farm and trade, they ate and drank, they married and gave in marriage and di
d whatever they pleased. Just as we are doing today, so they did. But when the t
ime came, God asked Noah to clean the ark, and take into it every creature in pa
irs.
He told Noah, he was going to destroy the world. Noah and seven others of his ow
n house went into the ark and God locked it. And it started raining cats and dog
s for forty days and forty nights. (Genesis Chapter 6 verse 7). The whole world
was destroyed leaving only Noah and his family, the eight of them. But this time
, God is no longer using water to destroy the world. He uses fire which is the W
ord of God. He uses the words which proceed from his mouth in slaying the nation
s.
And so brethren, whether you are a juju doctor or an atheist, whether you belong
to a different religion, return to Our Lord Jesus Christ today because He is lo
oking for you.
Otherwise you have to face death and afflictions, tribulations and pain. He is o
n earth. There is no place where you can run to because He is the ruler of every
thing forever and ever. You search for Him everywhere, you go about giving visio
ns and receiving same. Forget about these things and surrender yourself unto Him
so, you may be saved. Our God is a consuming fire.
The Word of God is a two-edged sword, and we have to practise it. If we practise
 the Word of God we will be saved. It is too late for you, to run to America, or
Europe because Africa is a tough place. It is equally too late for you, to run
from Europe to Africa.
It is equally too late for you to decide to remain in Hades. When you say, you w
ant to return to the ocean depths and have peace, it is too late. There is no pl
ace you can find peace. He has extended His tentacles into every part of the wor
ld. He has told you not to fear what can kill the flesh alone and can do nothing
to your soul. But fear what can kill the flesh and cast the soul unto hell. (Ma
tthew Chapter 10 verse 28). There is no peace with the spirit and there is no pe
ace with the flesh. There is no peace in the air, nor in the fire, nor in the wa
ter, nor in any other place.
Why is it so? It is because we do not accept Him, we do not believe in Him and w
e do not accept His reign. That is the message which is sent to you on this day.
This message is not for you alone; but for all the angels and for all the inhab
itants of the world; it will bring salvation to the whole world.
That is why, He has commanded saying: "Go and make all the nations my disciples,
teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And whoeve
r believes and is baptized shall be saved. But all those, who refuse to be bapti
zed will be damned."
And whoever separates and surrenders himself completely unto Our Lord Jesus Chri
st will be saved. There is no other being who can rule. If Jehovah God and His C
hrist do not rule, who else can rule? This is the time of His reign.
The Holy Spirit is the word. God is the Word. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Word,
the Word is God. The Word is the judge and ruler in heaven and earth. The Chris
t said, this generation will not pass away until all His Words are fulfilled. (M
atthew Chapter 24 verse 34). If you do not practise the Word of God, you will ha
ve neither money nor what to eat.
You seek for death and cannot die. In a very short time, you will witness what i
s going to happen with all those, who reject Him. You are very fortunate to rece
ive this message today. The door has been opened. Do not complain of Satan, enem
y or witchcraft. There is nothing to fear because Satan himself is in great fear
.
You heard in Revelation Chapter 20 verses 1 and 2, only one angel bound the devi
l for a thousand years. And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be
loosed out of his prison, and he shall go out to deceive the nations, and fire c
ame down from God out of heaven and consumed him. Our first lesson will now be r
ead.
First Bible Lesson: Luke Chapter 19 verse 27
"But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hi
ther, and slay them before me."
Who do you think Our Lord Jesus Christ is? He is the Word of God. He is the Holy
Spirit. Whoever does not want the Word of God, whoever tells you to go away wit
h the Word of God, is His enemy.
What are you sent to do? You are told to go forth and preach His glory. Whoever
does not accept the Word of God is the enemy of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Whoever d
oes not go out and preach the Word of God is the enemy of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Whoever does not go out and preach the Word of God is the enemy of God. Whichev
er city or town that does not rejoice in the Word of God is an enemy of Our Lord
Jesus Christ. Whoever does not practise the Word of God has reached his wits en
d.
Let us look for the black goat when it is yet day. Tell the government to practi
se the Word of God, for this is the time to practise the Word of God. Tell all t
he church denominations, all the secret societies, and all the inhabitants of th
e world, to practise the Word of God because this is the time to practise the Wo
rd of God.
No matter whether you grow hairs to the knee, or shave your head as smooth as an
egg, you have to practise the Word of God, whether you are worshipping days, mo
nths or years. He owns the day, the month and the year. Your duty is to practise
the Word of God.
Whether you are Hindu or Buddhist, Jew or Moslem, a Rosicrucian or a Christian,
and whether you call yourself a demon, you have to listen to the voice of God an
d practise the Word of God. You have heard the statement made by the ruler of he
aven and earth, "But those mine enemies which would not that I should reign over
them, bring hither, and slay them before me." These are sorrowful words and wor
thy of acceptance. We should prostrate on the ground and surrender ourselves unt
o Him.
It is because God wants to save the whole world, that is why He has sent this go
spel to you this day. This word is the salvation and redemption of mankind. Many
people are perplexed over the happenings in the world: famine, earthquake, deat
hs, sickness, wars, hatred and all others.
It is because you have rejected the Word of God. If the whole world today, decid
es to practise the Word of God, that would be the end of the problems in the wor
ld.
It does not cost you anything, if right from today you forsake hatred, murder an
d theft; and surrender yourself completely unto God. You are saved and you have
no problem at all. He has not come to rule over the human beings alone, but He h
as come to rule over the angels, death and Hades, the winds, the waters, fire, e
very creeping and winged creature. He has come to rule over all His creations.
Any tree, water, land, star, angel, men, or rock that does not accept His reign
will be cut off. The bird can sing as long as it has not fallen into a snare. Al
l the church denominations shout on the name of Jesus but do they receive Him? D
o they believe in Him? He has told you to love one another and forsake all that
is evil.
He is the only shepherd. Jehovah God and His Christ is the only shepherd. You ha
ve to hear His voice because there is only one flock and one shepherd. There sho
uld be neither wars nor quarrels, divisions nor hatred in any part of the world.
You know His teaching and when you comply with it, you have done everything. It
behooves all the inhabitants of the world to practise the Word of God because G
od does not want us to perish.
You are minting money and yet there is no money. There is no oil and things are
getting worse every day. Is it not time for you to advise yourself? When people
hear, there will be famine, they suggest, people should plant more food. When th
ey hear fire will test every man's work, they suggest, fire fighters should be l
ocated all over the place. Fire fighters have been stationed all over the place
and yet the fire continues to burn.
Recently, the Aba market was on fire. The Onitsha market was also on fire. Kano
market was on fire, and Calabar market was on fire. There has been reports of fi
re outbreaks all over the country, and what do all these indicate? It is a sound
ing notice.
And this is not limited to the earth alone. If you read the ninth chapter of the
book of Revelation, you see what goes on in all the planes as the angels open e
ach scroll. (See Revelation Chapter 9 verses 1 to 21).
Your salvation and mine lies in practising the Word of God. Do not harden your h
eart any longer. You say, you are going to trade, and you are looking for money.
Where did money go to? Here, there is money, wealth and everything. The only co
ndition is, you should practise the Word of God.
Use one water-yam to set a trap for the pig. But if the pig breaks into your far
m, it is not going to eat one water yam. Has Our Lord Jesus Christ not told you,
whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the j
udgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the
council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire? (
Matthew Chapter 5 verse 22).
Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember, your brother
has wronged you, leave your gift before the altar, and go on your way, first to
be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Agree with th
ine adversary quickly, whilst thou art in the way with him; lest at any time, th
e adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer
, and thou be cast into prison. Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means c
ome out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing. (Matthew Chapter 5 v
erses 25 and 26).
All the things He has told us remain accordingly. He has said, whosoever looketh
on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his he
art. (Matthew Chapter 5 verse 28). He does not give his teachings in secret. He
declares it openly.
When you read from Genesis to Revelation, you will realize, all His teachings ar
e given openly. He says, we should not swallow any tablet. You should not have a
ny other God apart from Him. If a brother is sick among you, call for the elders
of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name o
f the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall rais
e him up. (James Chapter 5 verses 14 and 15).
You have heard what He said after healing the man who was lame for thirty-eight
years. When he saw him in the temple, He told him, "see you are now well; sin no
more, lest worst things befall you." (John Chapter 5 verses 6 to 14). He is tea
ching us. He teaches us to forsake all sins. He teaches us not to give or receiv
e bribes. We should not cause division. We should possess love for one another.
But you refuse, and do not want to listen.
It is said, you should not love the world nor the things of the world because wh
oever loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in
the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of lif
e, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (1st John Chapter 2 verse 16). And
the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God
abideth for ever. (1st John Chapter 2 verse 17). So brethren, I do not want to
take you further than this. Let our second lesson be read.
Second Bible Lesson: Mark Chapter 16 verse 16
"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not sha
ll be damned."
Brethren, have you heard that? Has Our Lord Jesus Christ not given us the injunc
tion, we should go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature? And s
o whoever refuses to heed this warning, his blood is upon him.
When the people asked Peter, "what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repen
t, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remissio
n of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is u
nto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the
Lord our God shall call." (Acts Chapter 2 verses 37 to 39).
What does it mean to be baptized? It is repentance from sin. If you were a thief
, you no longer steal. If you were a fornicator, you no longer fornicate. You we
re a drunkard, but you no longer drink. You were a member of a secret society. Y
ou used to take drugs and injections but now you do not do those things again. Y
ou caused divisions, hated people and were a murderer, but now you have refraine
d from those things completely. It has been made clear, the work of the old man
has finished, right now it is the new man you have to put on. You should not lie
because you have put off the old man. The spirit of falsehood, fornication, the
ft, anger, is what is referred to as the old man that has to be removed from you
; and that is "baptism." After that you have to surrender yourself completely un
to God.
You deny, you do not want some other person's wife, but now and then you are see
n in her house; whom are you deceiving? You claim, you do not want a husband aga
in, but every now and then you are found going to a man's house. Whom are you de
ceiving?
You received baptism as an indication, you have denounced Satan and his works; y
ou no longer want hatred, fornication or any form of medication. You do not want
anything in the world because you are tired of it. But the next day, you come a
nd confess, you were angry, you have fornicated, you have drunk some liquor, you
have indulged in diabology, can you see, you have been at fault? There is only
one room and one bed. If you do not remove the old man from it, the new man cann
ot come in.
The spirit that was referred to as Adam was the spirit of truth and the spirit o
f falsehood. For you to be converted means your divesting yourself of that spiri
t of falsehood and the spirit that commits sin, and allowing the Holy Spirit to
dwell in you and do His work in you.
The person who receives baptism is the person who has confessed his sins and reg
rets them, he surrenders himself completely unto God and repents like the prodig
al son so the Holy Spirit may rule in him.
You have heard what Our Lord Jesus Christ told Nicodemus, that except a man be b
orn again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a
man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb
, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That w
hich is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spir
it. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth wh
ere it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it
cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Nicod
emus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? Jesus answered and sai
d unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? (John Cha
pter 3 verses 3 to 10).
Except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdo
m of God. It is not mere falling into water with sinful acts such as bearing gru
dge, fornication, all forms of preparation of concoctions around your body that
saves you; no, you are not yet born again. It is for you to surrender yourself c
ompletely unto God and you accept the reign of Christ. When you divest your thou
ghts of women, wealth, money and all the things of this world. When you forsake
everything and confess all your sins to God and accept the reign of Christ, then
are you saved. All those who reject Him will be destroyed.
Think of the situation where you tell somebody to accept baptism and he answers,
he had already been baptized in the church denomination in which he was a membe
r. How can such a person be saved? Many people complain, the case of being bapti
zed again is what they cannot do. They would rather die than get baptized again.
Surely they will die.
They argue, they accept every teaching of Brotherhood, but, they cannot afford t
o receive baptism again. Have you heard the First Bible Lesson: "But those mine
enemies who would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them
before me." (Luke Chapter 19 verse 27).
He has commanded, you should "go and make all the nations my disciples. He that
believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be dam
ned." Those are His words and whoever does not obey them will perish.
So listen very attentively whenever somebody comes to preach to you, and when he
advises you not to drink any longer or steal, you should not continue in these
acts. Whatever He says is not said by Him per se but by the Lord.
You argue, Peter made a certain statement or that James made a certain statement
. All are the words of God.
You argue, the Lord Jesus said something. He did not say anything. It is God who
says it. All the time, God is here in our midst but we do not know Him. When a
small child tells you, you should no longer fornicate, it is God who is warning
you and not the child; and if you refuse to abstain from fornication, you have p
erished. You shall be slain with the sword.
You are given a vision to leave that man and that woman alone, but you harden yo
ur heart. You profess to be an important person, you are the child of Obu and so
you persist in these acts of sin, are you not heading for destruction?
Solomon had seven hundred wives and three hundred concubines; but there was a wo
man in the countryside, among the heathens who worshipped Baal, whom he intended
to marry also; and God warned Solomon not to associate with her. It was because
of disobedience to this warning Babylon fell until this day.
Your sickness and all the problems which beset you, arise from the fact, you hav
e refused to listen to the voice of God. Whoever does not listen to the voice of
God will seek for death but will not see it; seek for life but will not find; a
nd will not have what to eat.
You have heard what was written: "And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his
name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given
unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunge
r, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth." (Revelation Chapter 6 vers
e 8).
Brethren, have you heard that? This does not come by observation, but if you go
to a juju man, he will tell you, he has lost all his power. There is a general d
iscontent everywhere and the scientists are helpless. The only solution is, they
should hearken to the voice of God, forsake anger, lying and theft. Practise al
l the words of God you had hitherto refused. When you do this, you are free.
Whenever you are asked to explain why there are all these troubles in the world,
refer such a person to this portion, which says, "And it shall come to pass, th
at every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among t
he people." (Acts Chapter 3 verse 23). It is this prophesy which has started its
work.
And so, if we do not hear the voice of God, we shall perish but all those, who h
ear Him, will have eternal life. His voice is not so inaudible that all the inha
bitants of the world should not listen to it.
Our Lord Jesus Christ heard His voice and practiced His works. He said, He could
do nothing of Himself. He judges according to what He hears because He was not
seeking after His own will, but for the will of Him that sent Him. And so we are
advised to hear His voice. Right from this day, if you hear His voice, all your
hardship, sickness and difficulties are gone.
Do not beg any person to receive baptism. Do not plead with any person who is st
ill sinning. Do not tell any person, the moment he is baptized, his sickness wil
l be over. The purpose of baptism is not for healing sickness, but for the absti
nence from sins.
When you are immersed in water, you are dead out of the things of this world and
you then surrender yourself unto God. Many of you claim, you have been baptized
. However, many of those who are not yet baptized but have forsaken drinking and
all elements of diabology, are better than those of you who still commit them.
John the Baptist did say: "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but
he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear:
he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire." (Matthew Chapter 3 ve
rse 11).
Our Lord Jesus Christ said: you are clean because of My Word. The baptism of Our
Lord Jesus Christ is the Word He has spoken to us. If we practise the Word acco
rding to His teachings, we are saved. (John Chapter 15 verse 3). You are, theref
ore, advised to refrain from sin but you would not.
You often ask why somebody in Brotherhood continues to be sick, poor and suffer
many tribulations. The answer is, he has refused to practise the Word of God. Ha
ve you not murmured against God. Have you not tempted God? Are you not angry?
Upon all the books and pamphlets in the bookshop, which are intended to help you
, you have refused to make good use of them, you have not turned from your evil
ways. Read through "What Is Brotherhood of the Cross and Star" to see if you hav
e practiced the Word of God or if you even believe. Read through the "First Step
to God" to see if you have any thought of practising or if you are practising w
hat is written therein. Nobody had thought of, or attempted to practise what is
in "The Second Step to God." "The Third Step to God" is not even known by many o
f you.
You console yourself, you are a Pastor or Bishop. You will want people to recogn
ize you as one of the pioneers. Search the scriptures, whether you believe, you
have eternal life in you. Our responsibility is to hearken to the voice of God a
nd practise His word.
Thereafter, go forth and preach the gospel to others. Where you do not practise
the Word of God, you have only yourself to blame. Realize your calling. Paul sai
d: "Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of
words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect." (1st Corinthians
Chapter 1 verse 17).
Have you not used your wisdom, experience and initiative to preach? You go about
telling people, Olumba Olumba Obu is God. When did I ever tell you to deliver s
uch sermons to the people? When you profess, Olumba Olumba Obu is Jesus, which d
ay did I preach that to you?
You tell people, you are knocking your head on the ground for Olumba Olumba Obu.
When did I tell you to knock your head on the ground for me? To whom do I knock
my head? You announce, you are worshipping Olumba Olumba Obu, who is the real G
od? When did I ask you to worship me?
Our Lord Jesus Christ had said, "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye
cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will gui
de you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shal
l hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glori
fy me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that
the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and sha
ll shew it unto you." (John Chapter 16 verses 12 to 15).
He has also spoken, whoever speaks of himself seeks his own glory: but he that s
eeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in h
im. (John Chapter 7 verse 18).
Which day did I preach Olumba Olumba Obu unto you? I have personally told you, I
am neither Our Lord Jesus Christ, nor God. In writings, through books and pamph
lets, I have told you the same thing. Day after day, I teach you the same thing.
These words you have heard are not my own words. You are witnesses that I alway
s refer you to Bible Texts. You read through what is spoken by God, but turn rou
nd to proclaim, it is Olumba Olumba Obu who has said it. By so doing you have fa
iled because the words are not mine. Brethren, let our golden text be read.
Golden Text: Acts Chapter 3 verse 23
"And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, s
hall be destroyed from among the people."
Brethren, are those my words? Do I even know how to preach? Have I ever attended
any theological school or seminary? I have often told you, even the Bible used
is never read by me. I have never been to any church. No person has taught me th
e Bible. I have laid everything bare before you, without hiding my nakedness.
In your own case, you have the General Certificate of Education in Bible knowled
ge, Diploma in Religious Studies, Degree in Theology and Doctor of Divinity. I h
ave never been to any Higher Institution of learning nor acquired any certificat
e for that matter. It is written in the Prophets, God shall teach them all thing
s. God is the only teacher. No other person teaches. I am not teaching. It says:
God shall teach them all things. (Isaiah Chapter 2 verse 3).
It is also said: "but the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father wi
ll send in my name, he shall teach you all things." (John Chapter 14 verse 26).
It is not provided, any human being shall teach any other person. There is no fa
mily, village, city, building or man through which you can be taught. God alone
teaches. He does so on his own. (Hebrews Chapter 8 verse 11).
After His speeches, Our Lord Jesus Christ did make it known, the words were not
His. But now we always say: "thus said Our Lord Jesus," or a statement is credit
ed to Him. You are lying against Him, because He had made it clear, it was Our H
eavenly Father who spoke and not Him.
Why do you go back to steal after baptism? Why do you go back to tell lies, take
injection, commit fornication, get annoyed, quarrel, fight and cause trouble? W
hy do you claim to be a member of a certain church denomination, or, you are Mos
lem or Hindu, society member or of Satan and as such you will not get baptized?
Have you not heard the Word of God?
Why is it, when you hear the Word of God you turn to some other person to ask if
he has not heard what his Leader has said? Is He not also your Leader? Are you
not equally bound by the words spoken by the Leader? Are you not ashamed of your
self? The message exonerates no person. The government, company, millionaire, ch
urch denomination, king or subject, rich or poor, men or women, angel or spirit,
trees or rock alike are affected. It shall come to pass, that every soul, which
will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. (Acts Cha
pter 3 verse 23).
Whether you are brotherhood, or sisterhood or fatherhood, whatever you are, if y
ou do not listen to the voice of that prophet, you will be cut off from among th
e people. If on the other hand you claim, you are not Brotherhood, but, you are
tree or fish, or nothing at all; whatever you are, if you do not listen to the v
oice of that prophet, you will be cut off from among the people.
You claim you are a spirit, angel, Jesus, God, Jehovah or prophet, if you do not
listen to the voice of that prophet, you will be cut off from among the people.
Whether you are white, black, colored, or red, if you do not listen to the voic
e of that prophet, you will be cut off from among the people.
Such arguments as, I have already known God, I am God, will not be entertained.
Whatever you are, if you do not listen to the voice of that prophet, you will be
cut off from among the people. It is said, today when you hear his voice, do no
t harden your hearts. (Hebrews Chapter 3 verses 7 and 8). Is it not the stubborn
ness of our forefathers to the voice of that prophet, that so great a calamity h
as befallen the world?
Right now you will argue, you will not practise the Word of God but the word of
Satan; you are flesh, and are attending a certain church denomination. What has
church denomination got to do with the subject at hand? You are commanded not to
drink, but you argue, you are a government worker, a king, and your position pe
rmits you to drink. Continue drinking but when the time comes, you will be cut o
ff. You are commanded not to offer drinks, you argue, you are a businessman and
must entertain your guests. Go on offering drinks. When it is time, you shall be
cut off. It is said, you should not receive bribe. At the present bribery and c
orruption are the order of the day. Even in a straight and clear case, if you do
not offer bribe, artificial impediments are created. Whoever does not listen to
the voice of that prophet, whether governor, or president, laborer or messenger
or whatever you are, as long as you do not listen to Him, you will be cut off f
rom among the people.
It is commanded, "thou shalt have none other gods before me. Thou shalt not make
thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or
that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth." (Deu
teronomy Chapter 5 verses 7 and 8). But you maintain the shrine was your ancestr
al property, and cannot be done away with, and that God created the trees and ev
ery other thing you have there. Hold onto it but you will be cut off.
We have only one Master, (Matthew Chapter 23 verse 8), but now you claim, your m
aster is in India, America, Russia or in the water. Continue playing your part.
Since you have refused to listen to the voice of that prophet, you will be cut o
ff from among the people.
I am not interested in money. I am not interested in food or any other thing, my
sole interest, concern and thought is whether on that day we will be saved. Tha
t is why, we are instructed to search the scriptures and continue to exhort till
He comes.
If you stay for one day without reading the Bible you will think, you are saved.
Whenever you take up the Bible to read, you will open to the passage which will
reveal the sin you commit. It is said, you should watch in the morning and in t
he afternoon, in the evening and in the night, for no one knows when the Lord sh
all come. (Matthew Chapter 24 verse 42).
Praise neither yourself nor any other person for no one knows who will be saved.
But whoever practises His instructions will be saved and whoever does not pract
ise His instructions will be cut off. It was so written.
It is said, you should not prejudge before the time, until the Lord comes. No ma
tter what you do, you do not do it for me. If you do not practise the word, you
are putting me to shame. It is the voice of the Father, and the option is yours
to obey or disobey.
This Gospel is confirmed in Matthew Chapter 24 verse 37 and Luke Chapter 17 vers
e 26 that as it was in the days of Noah, and in the days of Lot, so shall it be
in the days of the Son of man.
In the days of Lot, the people did eat, they drank, married wives, they were giv
en in marriage, they bought and sold, they planted and built mansions. They carr
ied out their normal daily assignments as is done now. But fire rained from heav
en and destroyed them all.
The angel told Lot and his household not to turn back as they were moving out of
the city. Lot's wife was baptized and was clad in white and served God. They we
re told not to turn back. On remembering her trinket box, she turned back and co
nsequently became a pillar of salt till this day. (Genesis Chapter 19 verse 26).
Do you think of that turning back literally? It symbolizes the thought for the t
hings of the world. Just like you are thinking of money, children, wives, busine
ss and other worldly things. These are your problems.
Likewise also, as it was in the days of Noah; they were eating, drinking, marryi
ng and giving in marriage, politicking and staging parties, and indeed carrying
out all other daily affairs, until the day Noah entered the ark and knew not unt
il the flood came, and destroyed them all excepting Noah and his household.
All these are notes of warning in the scriptures. If you read through Matthew Ch
apter 17, Luke Chapter 24, 2nd Peter Chapter 2, and 2nd Peter Chapter 3, you wil
l find the confirmation of things to come. Whether you believe or not, those thi
ngs will come to pass.
It is wise to look for a black goat while it is yet day. Our Lord Jesus Christ o
vercame the world because He loved not the world and the things in the world. He
carried out the instructions of His Father.
Know then, whatever a person may be, whatever village or city, church denominati
on or religion spirit or angel which does not listen to the voice of that prophe
t, shall be cut off from among the people.
It is said, in the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be establish
ed. (Matthew Chapter 18 verse 16, Deuteronomy Chapter 19 verse 15). The first le
sson tells us, "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over
them, bring hither, and slay them before me." (Luke Chapter 19 verse 27). The s
econd lesson says, "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he tha
t believeth not shall be damned." (Mark Chapter 16 verse 16). And finally, the g
olden text states, "And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not h
ear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people." (Acts Chapter 3 ver
se 23).
Whether you are white or black or colored, whether you are an angel or spirit, y
oung or old, male or female, tree or animal, water or rock, it is not directed t
o a particular individual, but concerns every person. Whoever does not listen to
the voice of that prophet will be destroyed from among the people.
History has now repeated itself. Do not think, I will condemn you in any way. Th
e same Jesus whom you are waiting for, whom you are shouting on, as the good fri
end of man: He had already judged you. Because if you were to hear his voice, yo
u would also hear my voice. Because Our Lord Jesus Christ bore eloquent testimon
y about the Holy Spirit, so long as you would not hear the voice of Our Lord Jes
us Christ, how will you hear that of the Holy Spirit?
Brethren, I do not intend to be tedious unto you. A stroke of the cane is suffic
ient unto the wise. Those who have ears, let them hear. May God bless His Holy W
