True North: How Authentic Leadership dances with selfCare
Is self-care a buzz word you conceptually understand, preach to your staff, have at the
very top of your illustrious to do list - but toss aside to send out that final email at 2 AM
or have downloaded an app for so you can cross it off your list permanently never to be
addressed again? Join me for a discussion on how finding and maintaining your True
North supports your decisions in leadership, parenting, interpersonal relationships and
the collective community we participate within. This is not just hippy heart openers and
colouring for adults! Scientific research and findings will be discussed to discover that
there is something to radical self-care and acceptance, and when leaders model it that
is when the magic happens. This will be a fun session delivered by a facilitator who loves
to laugh, values self-care and thinks finding your true north should be #1 on everyones
list. No hugging involved.
