A MESSAGE FROM OUR GOVERNOR
Dear Brothers and Sisters:
Heeees Back ! Yes, I am and very proud to represent Claymont Moose Lodge 847 as Governor for the next year.
What a great time to be an officer in our lodge, with a record 296 male members starting our fiscal year May 1 st and
(a record) 225 Chapter (female) members. Thanks to all 521 members, we are no longer the best-kept secret in the
area. To that point, I would like to personally thank Lorraine and Bob Cannon, the first couple in a long time, to be
Senior Regent and Governor, respectively, for their dedication and timeless efforts this past year. We should all thank
them when you see them in the social quarters. Bob has the cowboy hat on (FYI).

As some of you may know, Missy and I just got back from a tour of our National Parks out west. What an
exceptionally beautiful and breathtaking country we have, that most people have never seen. If I were president,
it would be mandatory that every U.S. citizen would have to witness the majestic sites at the Grand Canyon, Lake
Powell, and Zion National Parks. That way you would truly appreciate our country and would defend it to your last
breath. Now, the Moose tie-inwe are privileged to live in this great country and be able to call Mooseheart and
Moosehaven our own. And, if you actually got to either Mooseheart or Moosehaven, and got more involved in the
volunteer aspect of being a loyal Moose member, you would do everything in your power to ensure their success!

I am looking forward to a very progressive year at the Claymont Moose Lodge and Moose International. Stay tuned,
as the International Convention is coming up soon in Tampa from June 29 to July 3. I would like to thank our new
board of officers, both men and women, for their commitment to our cause. I would also like to recognize a retiring
officer, John Fowler, for his time and effort dedicated to the Claymont Moose. He has been an officer as long as I
have been a member. Godspeed, FA!

Please, if you have an idea for a party, event, contest, bus trip or Zumba, let an officer know. If that idea sees no
progress, come to me! Stay healthy, say hi to someone at the bar, and hug your loved ones!!

Fraternally,
Andy Zeager
A MESSAGE FROM OUR SENIOR REGENT
Dear Brothers and Co-Workers:

Well, here we go again. Since I had so much fun the first time, I decided to be your Senior Regent again. Im
looking forward to a new year with lots of fun activities planned. Im also hoping to get more of our members
involved in some of our fundraisers to make the Chapter year a great success. Lets talk about how YOU can
lend a helping hand.

Last February, I participated in the Moose Polar Bear Plunge in the Atlantic Ocean and raised $770 for a great
causethe children at Mooseheart. It was so much fun that I plan to do it againplease join me or you can make
a monetary donation for my cause.

and Friday Rib Night Dinners, and another BBQ Buffet. July brings us the WOTMs Annual Clam Bake and yet
another BBQ Buffet and in August the WOTM will host a Luau Theme Night and Dinner which is sure to be an
entertaining evening and then theres the Almost End of Summer Happy Hour Party. September is the month when
the Lodge will host the annual Timmy Speakman Memorial Crab Feast.what a great tradition this is for us to
continue to sponsor this event in Timmys memory. And there could be more unannounced activities in store!
