Instructions for character creation:

Starting level: 3.
Starting max HP: the maximum possible. If your hit die is d12 and you have +2 CON, your max HP will be [3*12 + 3*2].
Starting currency: 1000gp.
Starting equipment - you do not gain any equipment from race, class or background. Instead, you may spend your starting
currency on any equipment you want from Chapter 5: Equipment in PHB.
Rolling your ability scores, pick one:
1. Roll 3x3x3d6. Reroll 1s once. You get 3 groups consisting of 3 rolls. Assign one group to STR, DEX, CON and
distribute the scores as you wish between the three. Assign another group to INT, WIS, CHA. Disregard the
remaining group.
2. The default array of 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8.
3. Point buy (see p. 10 of PHB).
If you're a spellcaster or have any kinds of skills that use charges, write down your maximum charges or spell slots for each
level in the box without a category at the bottom of the first page. If you're a spellcaster, write down your spellcasting ability,
spell DC and spell attack bonus in the box below AC (otherwise feel free to use it freely).

The main character sheet in digital form.
For spellcasters: the spell list.

Campaign setting: you have been invited to a tournament held in the capital of a large empire in the south - the Rejer Imperium.
You do not know much about this empire and have your own reasons behind attending the tournament. Currently, you are
travelling with a caravan through the desert that the empire is situated in.

Requirements for the character backstory, traits etc.:

In a text file.
Up to 300 words.
Factual.
Fitting into the setting.
No difficulties travelling with companions.

The "Inventory & Equipment" in the first page of the main character sheet is for items that are accessible during the
encounter. Anything in the backpack (second page) takes 1 action to take it out before being able to use them.

Suggestions:
A notebook to keep track of things.
Use the same notebook to write down the descriptions of your features, traits, items etc.
Use the same or another notebook for spell descriptions, like a spell book.

I expect to receive your FINISHED characters BEFORE July 5th. Do not be late.
The character sheets in physical form will be provided at the start of the session.
I am free on 07.01-02 if any assistance is required in-person.
Otherwise, I can be reached online, but take a while to respond. I have work from Monday to Friday, 8PM to 3-5AM, and
sleep until 1-2PM usually.
