Notes on readings:
1. Readings from EPW should be accessed from the journals website rather than the
printed version, as the on-line version often has corrections.
2. The Overview chapter from the Economic Survey 2013-14 should be used as a
background reading for all topics.
Examination Pattern:
It was agreed that students would be required to answer any 5 out of 8 questions.
Distribution of questions should be roughly proportional to the amount of reading
material under each topic.
