intravenous admixtures, with a focus on general and specific IV procedures and the role of the pharmacy
technicians. Chemotherapeutic therapy and experimental drug trials are discussed.

Refill and check medications going into the pyxis machine as well as trouble shooting
Deliver medications including high alerts and narcotics to all units
Take the IV order, calculate, prepare and mix intravenous bags, eye/ear drops and inhalations
Print and evaluate reports using the pyxis console/medstation
