Overview
In these assignments, you will learn the rules of capitalization. You will recall the rules of
capitalization and apply what you have learned by correcting sentences. You will also practice
by creating sentences with correct capitalizations.

Instructions
1. After learning about the rules of capitalizing the first letter of a sentence you will be
given ten sentences. Each sentence has a mistake with capitalization focusing on the first
letter of the sentence. It is your job to figure out what is wrong with the sentence and
write it correctly on your paper.
2. After learning about the rules of capitalizing the pronoun I you will be given ten
sentences. Each sentence has a mistake with capitalization focusing on the pronoun I. It
is your job to figure out what is wrong with the sentence and write it correctly on your
paper.
3. After learning about the rules of capitalizing dates and names you will be given ten
sentences. Each sentence has a mistake with capitalization focusing on dates and names.
It is your job to figure out what is wrong with the sentence and write it correctly on your
paper.
4. After learning about the rules of capitalization you will log on to your board on Padlet
and create five sentences using the rules of capitalization correctly.
