DifferentEndings

YoucouldeasilyplowthroughDawnofSorrowandneverknowthattherearethreecompletelydifferent
endingstoearn.Youcangeteachendingwithoutworryingaboutmissingtheothersjustfulfillthe
requirementsforeachending(listedbelow),watchtheending,andthenreloadyourgamesaveto
continueonthepathtothenextending.Asfarasweunderstand,thethirdendingisthetrueendingfor
thegameandyieldsthemostpossiblegameplay.

Ending1 Togetthefirstending,simplydefeatDarioinahand
tohandfightwhenyouencounterhiminthearea
calledThePinnacle.Thisisthesecondencounterwith
Dario.
Ending2 InsteadoffightingDariohandtohand,usethe
Paranoiasoultowarpintothemirrorandfighthis
innerdemon,Aguni.AfterdefeatingAguni,get
MagicSeal5andreturntotheGardenofMadness
area.Enterthesealeddoorwayinthecenterofthe
areatoviewthesecondending.

Ending3 BeforeusingMagicSeal5toopenthesealeddoorway
intheGardenofMadness,equipMina'sTalisman.
You'llbypassthesecondendingandcontinueplay,
lettingyouentertheMineofJudgementandThe
Abyss.

SecretEnemies

Youwillencountermostenemytypessimplybyexploringthecastleandprogressingthroughthegame.
However,therearethreeenemytypesthatareprettywellhidden.TheUMANewsitemsyoufindwill
giveyouacluetotheirexistence,butgettingtheseguysoutofhidingtocompleteyourenemylist(andto
earntheirsouls!)isstillabittricky.Listedbelowaredetailsonfindingtheseelusivecreatures.

Yeti Foundattheverybeginningofthecastle,inthe
snowyfieldjustoutsidethecastlewalls.Youcansee
theYetiwalkingaroundinthebackground,buttolure
itoutyou'llneedtothrowoutsomecurryusingthe
WaiterSkeletonsoul.

Flying TheFlyingHumanoidislocatedattheverytopofthe
Humanoid CursedClockTower,justoutsidethesaveroom.You
canseetheenemyflyingaroundaspireinthe
distance.Tokilltheenemy,usetheMandragorasoul.
You'llinstantlyearnthisenemy'ssoul.
Mothman BeforeyoucanlureouttheMothman,youneedto
firstgettheRycudasoul.Withthatpower,headto

Strength SubterraneanHellareawithatestofstrength.Usea
hammertypeweapontohitoneendoftheseesawand
sendtheballflyingintotheair.Morepowerful
hammerswillknocktheballhigher,earningyour

Trophies Therearethreesecretitemstocollectinthegamethat
servesnoactualpurposethey'rejusttrophiesthat
proveyoureallylikeCastlevania.Thefirstisacrown
hiddenintheDemonGuestHouse.There'sasingle
roomwithachairandalargebed.Sitinthechairto
makethecrownappear.IntheCursedClockTower,
findaroomcoveredinspikeswithasmallspike
coveredplatformnearthetop.Crouchdownonthe
platform(theonlypartthat'snotcoveredinspikes)
andwaitasecondtosummonthenexttrophy.To
obtainthethirdtrophy,youmustfirstfindthe
Hippogryphsoul.FindtheroomintheDarkChapel
withthelargebells.UsetheHippogryphjumpto
smashintoabellandknockoutthethirdtrophy.
Soul Byequippingcertainsetsofsouls,youcanunlock
Combos specialabilitiesthatcombinethepowersofeachsoul.

SecretAreas

Throughoutthecastlearevariouswallswhichcanbedestroyedusingyournormalattacks.Thesewalls
looklikeanyotherwall,sofindingthesesecretscanbeachallenge.YoucanequipthePeepingEyesoul
toclearlyspotthesewallsbutit'snotnecessaryforfindingthesecrets.Checkoutourmapbelowto
locatethehiddenareasandcollectthesecretitemsandtreasurestheyhold(theareasaremarkedinbright
yellow).

RouletteDoorways

Therearethreeroulettewheelsinthecastlethatblockpassageintosecretrooms.Asyoutouchthese
doorways,theroulettewheelwillspinanddisplaythelastthreedigitsofyourgoldcount.Inorderto
unlockthesedoors,thelastthreedigitsofyourgoldcount(example:GOLD25,777)mustmatchthe
numbersengravedonthedoorway.

Eachofthreedoorwayshasadifferentnumber.Checkthemapbelowtofindthesedoorwaysandgo
preparedtounlockthemfortheirsecrets(theareasaremarkedinorange).

MirrorRooms

BydefeatingthehiddenbossParanoia,you'llgaintheabilitytoentermirrorsandexplorealternate
versionsofanyroomthathasamirror.Thesealternateroomsoftenholdvaluablesecretitemsthatare
worthhuntingdown.OnceyouhavetheParanoiasoul,locatethesemirrorroomsandgaintheir
