theFounderPresidentoftheCTIFGlobalCapsule(CGC).HeisalsotheFounderChairmanoftheGlobal
ICTStandardizationForumforIndia,establishedin2009withthepurposeofincreasingthecollaboration
betweenEuropean,Indian,Japanese,NorthAmericanandotherworldwidestandardizationactivitiesin
theareaofInformationandCommunicationTechnology(ICT)andrelatedapplicationareas.
HeisfellowofIEEE,IET,IETEandWWRF.
He has been Project Coordinator of several EC projects namely, MAGNET, MAGNET Beyond,
eWALLandsoon.
Duringthepresentationheldattheconference,ProfessorRamjeePrasadwillintroducethe
FutureWirelessCommunicationEra(FWC)beyond2020.FutureWirelessCommunicationEraisdefined
asthesumofthreeuniqueconceptsnamely,HumanBondCommunication(HBC),FeelingIdentification
andTransmission(FIT)andKnowledgeHome(KH).ThetalkwillbeaboutHBC,FITandKH.Itisworth
mentioningherethat5GisapillarofthefoundationoftheFutureWirelessCommunicationEra.

Hanna Bogucka received the Ph.D. degree with honors and the Doctor Habilitus degree in
Telecommunications from Poznan University of Technology (PUT), Poznan, Poland in 1995 and 2006
respectively.Currently,sheisafullprofessorandaDeputyDeanforResearchattheFacultyofElectronics
andTelecommunicationsatPUT.Prof.HannaBoguckaisinvolvedintheresearchactivitiesintheareaof
wirelesscommunications:radioresourcemanagement,opportunisticradioaccess,flexible,adaptiveand
cognitiveradio,andtheapplicationofgametheorytowardsthebroadlyunderstoodefficiencyofthese
systems.ShehasbeeninvolvedinmultipleEuropean5th7thFrameworkProgrammeandHorizon2020
projectsdealingwithnovelwirelessflexibletransmissiontechniquesandcognitiveradiotechnologies,as
wellasintheEuropeanCOSTactions.
ThetitleofthepresentationisSpectrumSharingandAggregationfor5GandBeyondand
itwillfocusonnewmulticarriertransmissiontechniquesusingnoncontiguoussubcarriers,suchasNon
contiguousOrthogonalFrequencyDivisionMultiplexing,itsenhancedversion,GeneralizedMulticarrier
Multiplexingoritsspecialcase,theNoncontiguousFilterBankMultiCarriertechnique. Thesearetech
niquescapableofflexiblespectrumaggregation,flexibletransmissionandreceptionmethodsachieving
highspectralefficiencyorenergyefficiencytowardmeetingthe5Gradiosystemschallenges.WewilldiscussDynamicSpectrumAccess
(DSA),spectrumaggregationandsharingoptionsforthefuturemulticarriertechnologiesmeetingthedesiredfeaturesof5Gcommuni
cations.Theissueoftherequiredinformationsignalingwillbeconfrontedagainsttherequiredspectralefficiency.Coexistenceofthe
newcognitiveradiotechnologieswiththeincumbent(licensed)systemswillbeconsidered,inparticular,spectrumaggregationandshar
ingintherealworldscenariosinthepresenceoftheselegacysystemswillbediscussedandevaluated.

Nenad D. Filipovic is full Professor at Faculty of Engineering and Head of Center for
Bioengineering at University of Kragujevac, Kragujevac, Serbia. He was Research Associate at Harvard
SchoolofPublicHealthinBoston,US.Hisresearchinterestsareintheareaofbiomedicalengineering,
cardiovascular disease, fluidstructure interaction, biomechanics, multiscale modeling, data mining,
software engineering, parallel computing, computational chemistry and bioprocess modeling. He is
DirectorofCenterforBioengineeringatUniversityofKragujevacandleadsjointresearchprojectswith
Harvard University andUniversity of Texas inarea ofbionanomedicine computer simulation. Healso
leadsanumberofnationalandinternationalprojectsinareaofbioengineeringandbioinformatics,FP7,
HORIZON2020.
ThetitleofthepresentationisComputerRiskPredictionforAtherosclerosisDevelopment
intheCoronaryArteries.Atherosclerosisisthecauseofmorethan50%mortalityintheworldtoday
whichiswhythedeterminationofatherosclerosislocationandvolumeforaspecificpatientisveryim
portantforpredictionofthisdiseaseprogression. ComputermodeloftransportofmacrophagesandoxidizedLDLdistributionforthe
initialplaquegrowmodelinsidetheintimalareawasimplemented. Thecomputermodelcontainsbigdatacalculationanddatamining
patientclassification.Partialdifferentialequationswithspaceandtimesvariableswithspecificbiomolecularprocessinthearterialwall
wereusedforriskprogressionoftheplaque.Thislargescalecomputermodelingtoolopensanewavenueforclinicalriskpredictionof
theatherosclerosisdiseaseforspecificpatient.
