Understanding Of What Christ Did For
Us

Now for this very reason also, applying all

diligence, in your faith supply moral
excellence, and in your moral excellence,
knowledge;
And in your knowledge, self-control, and in
your self-control, perseverance , and in your
perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness,
and in your brotherly kindness, love.
For if these qualities are yours and are
increasing, they render you neither useless
nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our
Lord Jesus Christ.
For he who lacks these qualities is blind or
short sighted, having forgotten his
purification from his formal sins.
2 Peter 1:5-9

In order to overcome Satan’s lies and begin to

enjoy freedom from false beliefs, we need to
understand what Jesus did for us, the more
we understand what he did in his Sacrifice for
us we will begin to have freedom, motivation
and power God intends for us, and it starts
with examining our heart’s and thought
pattern.
The Cross is Central to our development to
freedom living.

Our redemption was made at Calvary, Jesus

cried out “It Is Finished” John 19:30
Jesus became that Bridge that brings us back
to reconciliation with God, which when we
were in Sin separated us from the Love Of
God, Now once we come to the place of
repentance we are now forgiven, and we
begin a relationship with God only through
Jesus Christ, there is no other way, to get to
Heaven, there is no other solution, but only
through Repentance and asking Jesus to
come into your heart.
We lack in Growth because of the issues of
Life and we don’t really know and trust the
Lord like we think we do. We don’t trust that
he can really set us free from Roots that hold
us back from getting into a deep relationship
with the Lord, his desire is to free us up so we
can live a Kingdom Life in him, if we were all
completely freed up then why do we struggle
with the same temptations, the same failings,
and the same distractions?
Can we really be set free and enjoy the
freedom and really getting set free from
rejection, guilt, and shame?
Yes we can, and it starts by examining our
hearts, it starts by being honest with yourself
that something in us needs to be line up with
the Word Of God by getting the Word in us
consistently and not get caught up with the
issues of life but getting set free, from those
things that weigh us down.

We have within us Jesus who has ALL

AUTHORITY over Satan, It was by the
Power of HIS BLOOD that paid the price for
our Sins, and is the power to give NEW LIFE,
Colossians 2:15

The only way we give up this power is by

allowing Satan to continue to Lie to us, then
he deceives us.
And if we cannot see that we have been
Redeemed by Jesus Blood then we give up
our true position as Son ship, then we will
remain trapped in Guilt, Shame, and Roots
Of Bitterness, and Rejection, Satan’s job is to
keep us from recognizing and experiencing
these truths, and to try and keep us from
being set free.
We are so perceptive about what each other
needs, that we forget to examine our own
hurts, anger, and miss out on Joy and Hope.
Jesus gave us a Helper, who is Holy Spirit
which indwells within us to produce good
fruit, and remove the old fruit that corrupts
us, John 14:16 that same Holy Spirit is our
instructor, counsellor, and is the source of
spiritual power, the Holy Spirit is the 3rd
Person of the Trinity, and his purpose is to
Glorify Jesus and bring attention to him in
John 16:13 the Holy Spirit is our teacher and
he guides us into the truth of the scriptures it
is by his power that flows through us and
produces Spiritual Fruit within us
We can have love for one another
Joy and peace in the midst of our difficulties
John 15:1,4-5
I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine
dresser. Abide in (live, grow in me and I in
you)
As the branch cannot bare fruit of itself,
unless it abides in the vine, so neither can
you, unless you abide in me.
I am the vine, and you are the branches; he
who abides in me, and I in him, he bares
much fruit; for apart from me you can do
nothing.
That same power that raised Jesus from the
dead is in us today to raise us up from the
issues of Life, and is available for us, if we
abide in him, and he in us.

God’s supply of Love for us will never run

out, but it just sits there if we don’t use it, if
we don’t tap into it, then we run out and get
dried up, we must abide in it, so it can flow
through us, we need to go to that secret place
in him, not to visit, but to dwell with him
there.
He that dwells in the secret place of the Most
High shall abide under the shadow of the
Almighty.
Psalms 91:1

If you are looking for words of Affirmation,

to set you free then I encourage to get in the
Word Of God, you can begin recognizing that
in his time you will be set free of Life’s Issues,
you will then take your focus and attention
off yourselves and all your focus will be on
him, this will honor Jesus.

It’s a great journey to lose your selves in him,

The next thing is to ask our selves is what is
our motivation?
Is to gain approval through others? That will
only cause more shame and guilt, and you’ll
be setting yourself up for rejection.
What are we truly pursuing?
Is it pure motives or self gain?
Is it that we fear that God can’t really accept
us cause we are not good enough, or we
haven’t done enough for him, cause those are
just lies from Satan trying to keep us trapped
in our guilt and shame, setting us up for more
rejection.
Remember it was while we were still sinners
Christ died for us.
We may desire spiritual growth and desire to
be set free from all issues of life and long to
have Righteousness, Peace, Joy, which is
offered to us unlimited.
Or do we just want to Glorify ourselves?
We get preoccupied with our issues and
forget to look towards Jesus to set us free.

2 Corinthian 12:9
My grace is sufficient for you, for power is
perfected in weakness.
God’s grace is sufficient for us and his love
for us has no conditions on it, it is
unconditional. We cannot do anything to earn
it, we cannot do anything to stop his love for
us, we cannot be good enough for it and we
cannot be bad enough for it, his love for us
was proven to us at Calvary. When Jesus
took our place up on that cross, when he said
“It Is Finished”
He cannot make us love him, or come to him,
or even accept him into our lives, but the
invite is always there, and he is waiting with
open arms to just come as you are, it does not
matter how great or small your sin is he says
”COME” let him set you free, cause he only
knows what to do, it may take time to be set
free, but the journey with him is worth it in
the long run, he can only make the wrong
right, by the power of his
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

The Fruit Of the Spirit is:

Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness,
Goodness, Self-Control…..Galations 5:22-23

WE ARE:
We are deeply LOVED and COMPLETELY
Forgiven By God, we are Fully pleasing to
God, Totally ACCEPTED by God, and
COMPLETE by HIM.

If you need to confess your sins then don’t do

it with me but confessing them to God means
you agree that you have sinned and Jesus has
completely FORGIVEN YOU. It also means
you have REPENTED turned away to life of
love and Obediance to God.

As you journey on in your relationship with

God you begin to trust in him, he guides you
in his Word, and fills you with his Spirit, you
now live in him and through him, this will
lead you in a Powerful Relationship with him
who is the Source of Wisdom for each
difficult situation.
We must constantly and consistently renew
our minds from stinking thinking
And do not be conformed to this world, but
be transformed by the renewing of your
mind, that you may prove what the will of
God is, that which is good and acceptable and
perfect.
Romans 12:2
