Skyren

Skyren are a beautiful but tempestuous race related to Nymphs. Due to their fey heritage, most
Skyren are attuned to the emotions and desires of other folk, and because of their mischievousness, this
connection often ends with the Skyren getting themselves or their allies into dicey situations.
Skyren have an innate knack for reading the desires of those around them, and will often feed off the
attention their beauty garners them from the opposite gender. They see other races, such as Elves
prudish, but find the vitality of humans invigorating. Most however, seek only the attention of those
they themselves find beautiful. Though they will easily use their attractiveness to their advantage.
Skyren stand between 5 1/2 feet and 6 1/2 feet and have slightly elf-like ears, shimmering hair and
glittering cat-like eyes. While their is a disproportionate amount of females to males, male Skyren do
exist, and are equally prone to flaunting their sensuality as any female Skyren would.
Both genders wear brightly colored, finely woven silks and linens, and both genders wear jewelry in
their hair and on their person, with some more combat oriented Skyren wearing Hair Blades which
they wield like a barbed whip.
Skyren have a second inner eye lid which renders them immune to Blinding spells and effects.

Playing a Skyren
If you choose to play a Skyren, modify your character as follows:
Add 1 to your Dexterity ability.
Pick one of the following ability focuses: Communication (Seduction) or Dexterity (Initiative).
You have Dark Sight, which allows you to see up to 20 yards in darkness without a light source.
Your speed is 10 + Dexterity (minus armor penalty if applicable).
You can speak and read the Skyren Tongue, and Understand Skyren Body Signs.
Roll twice on the Skyren Benefits table for additional benefits. Roll 2d6 and add the dice
together. If you get the same result more than once, re-roll until you get something different.
