Africa lead will ensure that the activity is effectively supported by a communication plan that
constantly engages USAID East Africa Mission and AFSTA board and staff during the preparation, assessment and dissemination of results. The two partners will be fully involved in
Participatory processes will be used in designing, validating and disseminating methodology,
findings and recommendations. Program or internal communication will include: Regular briefing, consultation and invitation of Government and USAID Malawi to contributing to the design, engagement and where applicable provision critical contacts for the activities Co-generation of TOR, deliverables and work plan with USAID Malawi mission and MOAW&ID. Holding workshops and monthly meetings Sharing of work plans, bi-weekly/ monthly progress reports, minutes, workshops and events reports and specific communication briefs for relevant stakeholders. On communication of results, Africa Lead will work with the consultants to develop key messages and appropriate communication materials from the overall assessment for key stakeholders including: Full final report, abridged version and accompanying PPTs Policy briefs for different groups (500 copies), Use of Multi-media - 1 Newspaper pullout, 1 video clip, Blog spot, 2 specific excepts on youth and women and resilience.
