PRODUCT DISCUSSION

A silicon free defoamer for the cement slurries. It is an organic compound. FP-9L Defoamer
FP-9LS is a very effective and long lasting defoamer for cement slurries. It prevents the formation of
foam or destroys the foam immediately if added when foaming has commenced.

A dark slightly viscous liquid, designed for use as cement fluid loss additives. These
materials, although applicable over a broad range of well conditions, are primarily used
FL-47LS
where high temperature and pressures are encountered. FL-67 and FL67L are applicable
from 60F (16C) to 350F (177C) at concentrations from 0.2 to 2.0% BWOC.

Gas block additive, a water suspension of tiny silica particles with average size of 0.8
microns it effectively reduce the internal permeability of the cement by chemically and
BA-58L physically blocking the slurries matrix. These include fluid loss materials and the slurries'
ability to prevent gas migration. The material is very versatile and can be used with equal
effectiveness in fresh or sea water.

A modified lignosulfonate, liquid cement retarder designed for use at circulating bottom hole
temperatures above 200F (93C). It is a black and should be stored at temperatures above
R-8L 32F (0C). Because R-8L retarder is a liquid, the amount used is measured in gallons per
one hundred sacks of cement. R-8L retarder is the primary high temperature, liquid cement
retarder of the BJ Liquid Additive System (LAS).

An anionic blend of organic acid salts. When mixed with cement it will absorb into the
cement particles and chelate the calcium ions retarding formation on CSH gels. R-21LS has
a slight dispersive action with most cements, which results in some thinning of cement
R-21LS
slurry. Due to this, better fluid loss control is generally obtained. It can be use as a retarder
with slurries prepared with either fresh water or sea`water. It used at temperature range of
120 F to 350 F.

A dark liquid and hydrocarbon odor water-based spacer, all purpose cement and mud
spacer. This spacer has been proven as effective product to prevent contamination between
MCS-W the cement and mud systems. It is is designed to be compatible with both mud and cement
systems. The sweep efficiency is caused by a thinning of the gelled mud and/or non-
dehydrated cake, and not by forming a viscous interface or clabber in either system.
