Saturday 1st Thank God for all our young people.
Pray a blessing for Monday 10th Pray for our brothers and sisters in Greenock , Hamilton
them and their teachers as they start their summer holidays. Pray for those
in our fellowship who are teachers, thank God for them and pray that they
would have a good summer, a good rest and chance to recharge their
energy levels.
Sunday 2nd Pray for our service today. For Ian as he brings us God's
word, that we would hear and receive it with open hearts, ready to act on
what we hear. Pray for our young people as they start their summer
program in JAM, for fun and fellowship.
Monday 3rd Pray for Alan Donaldson, General Director of BUS and our
brothers and sisters in Gourock, Granton and Grantown-on-Spey Baptist
Churches.
Tuesday 4th Read Matthew 11:28-29. "Cast all your cares on Him
because He cares for you". Give your soul a holiday, spend time being still
with Jesus resting in His love for you. Pray for our home groups meeting
this week.
Wednesday 5th Pray for those who will lead and those attending Singing
Together at Dovecot today. Thank God for giving us this opportunity to
share friendship and fellowship with the folk who live and work there.
Thursday 6th The Building Group meets tonight. Pray for discernment
and a sense of Gods leading.
Friday 7th Thank God for giving us the Kings Meadow garden and for
all the opportunities it allows us to meet together with folk who live around it
and nurture and share friendships with them. Remember Bill and all his
work at the garden.
Saturday 8th Ephesians 4:1-6.Thank God for all our church family. Come
to the Lord confessing times of grumbling and murmuring against brothers
and sisters in Christ. Ask Him for a fresh awareness of his Holy Spirit and
the gifts that He gives. Ask Him for a renewing of loving relationships with
all our brothers and sisters.

Tuesday 11th Matthew 9:35-38. Ask God to give us an increase in
compassion and concern for those who don't know Him yet especially
looking at our vision to saturate the South Side with His Good News and
love.
Wednesday 12th Thank God for the opportunity to go into Dovecot today
and share his love and good news at the service this afternoon. Pray for
Ian as he leads, and for all those who attend.
Thursday 13th James 5:16. "The earnest prayer of a righteous man has
great power and wonderful results." Be encouraged, everyone's prayers
are important.
Friday 14th Isaiah 46:3-4. Meditate on these verses and pray as you feel
led.
Saturday 15th JAM/Church trip to Musselburgh beach today. Pray for a
great day together, for fun, fellowship and safety for all those going.
Sunday 16th Pray for our service today, for all those involved and for Ian
as he brings us God's word.
Monday 17th Pray for Hawick, Helensburgh and High Blantyre Baptist
churches and Martin Hodson, Ministry Development Coordinator for BUS.
Tuesday 18th Philippians 1:4. Thank God for this church's "partnership in
the gospel". Pray that as a fellowship we will continue seeking how He
wants us to develop that partnership on the Southside.
Wednesday 19th Pray for the "NOW" group - Ian, Lindsey, Jan, Richard
and Chris - as they look into how we could make it possible to enlarge our
mission using the Kings Meadow garden in the immediate future while we
are waiting on Gods leading for the longer term. Pray we would all come
with open hearts, seeking God's agenda and not our own.
Thursday 20th Pray for our BMS partners today, Abi and Ally and their
family, Victor and Caroline and Ann and David MacFarlane. Pray for Ann
and David's church in Reggio Calabria as they say goodbye when Ann and
David retire, and for all the work they do with the refugees arriving with
nothing from a perilous crossing of the Mediterranean Sea.
Friday 21st Thank God for our leadership team, Ian, John, Bill and Linda.
Pray for wisdom and discernment for them as they seek not only to lead
but also equip us all to do the part God calls us to do in His church.
Saturday 22nd Diversity meets this afternoon in Eddleston for afternoon
tea and fellowship. Open to all, pray it would be a time of deepening
friendships, making new friends and fun together.
Sunday 23rd Pray for our service today, that all who come would
experience God's love and presence.
Monday 24th Pray for Peter Dick, Finance Director of BUS and our
brothers and sisters in Hillhead Baptist Church, Hillview Community Church
and Hopeman Baptist Church.
Tuesday 25th Psalm 91:1. Meditate on this verse , remind yourself that
God's presence is always with you and pray as you feel led.
Wednesday 26th Pray throughout the day about our mission and work
on the Southside. Read Proverbs 3:5-6, praise and thank God for His
promises and faithfulness.
Thursday 27th Pray for our nation and our leaders. Pray for wisdom and
discernment as they negotiate Brexit with Europe, work with others on
worldwide issues and as they deal with UK issues. Pray for a willingness to
work with each other whatever political persuasion for the good of all and
not their own agendas.

Friday 28th Malachi 3:6. "I the Lord do not change". Praise God for who
He is.
Saturday 29th Pray for Ian, Lindsey and all those involved in the annual
mission in Frinton in the coming week. Thank God for all the local churches
in Frinton involved and pray that all who attend whether they are children,
teenagers or adults would hear God speaking to them. Pray for good
weather. Pray for Ian and Lindsey as they lead in different areas.
Sunday 30th Pray for our All Age service today and for all those taking JULY 2017
part. Pray also for our church BBQ afterwards and for the opportunity this
gives to invite and share with friends and family.
Monday 31st Pray for Francis Bloomfield, Convenor of BUS and for our
brothers and sisters in Inverkeithing , Inverness and Irvine Baptist
churches.
