PRIORITY TYPE FLOW DIVIDERS split a single input Features

flow into a Priority (regulated) flow and a By-pass
(excess) flow which can be returned directly to the oil Clearly marked single-turn hand dial permits
reservoir or used to power a second system. In many fast visual adjustments to pre-determined
instances this dispenses with the need for another Priority flow and fast easy adjustments of
pump to operate a second system. Priority circuit to meet varying requirements.

Specifications Pressure compensated permitting both

Priority and By-pass to be used
Maximum Pressure: simultaneously at varying pressures without

CIRCUIT SUGGESTIONS

1 Variable Speed of Hydraulic Motor

Drive on Agricultural Tractor
This circuit gives the capability to vary
the speed of a hydraulic motor as
Priority Regulated Flow
required. Also, for a given control knob P Inlet
setting, the hydraulic motor speed stays By-pass
constant regardless of the tractor
speed. 2FV2V Variable
Flow Divider
2 Two Circuits From a Single Pump
Using only one pump, this circuit gives Hydraulic
speed control of the hydraulic motor Cylinder
and powers a hydraulic cylinder. Each
function can be used either
simultaneously or independently
because pressure variations between
regulated and by-pass flows do not
effect the flow on the regulated circuit.

3 Multiple Circuits From a Single Circuit 3

4. Simplify your circuit with the Circuit 4a

CK2FV2V
a) In this circuit a 2FV2V is used and Priority
Regulated
two directional control valves are Flow
required. This is because flow
cannot be reversed through the
priority port of the standard valve.

P Inlet By-pass

b) This simplified circuit uses a Circuit 4b

CK2FV2V with a built-in check valve
between the priority and inlet ports.
This allows flow to be reversed
through the priority port of the valve,
there-by reducing the number of Priority
Regulated
directional control valves required. Flow

5. Protect your motors from Circuit 5

cavitation with the AC2FV2V
In this application the check valve is
Priority
routed between the by-pass and Regulated
priority ports, preventing cavitation Flow

on the priority flow.

6
Other priority flow control valves
VFD50 series
A 50 lpm version of the 2FV2V series, available in
two priority sizes, 0 15 & 0 30 lpm. Can be 3/8
BSP or NPT ported, also available as 4-bolt manifold
mount.

2FV2V-E & FDM Series

(Electric and proportional control valves)
Two models available, one with electric motor
control, the other with full proportional control.
Porting, flow and functional options are the same as
the **2FV2V.

FVDVRV series
A variable priority flow divider with built-in manual
diverter valve for the priority flow. Available with
pressure relief valve.
