inspected for signs of wear and damage.
DGI has a full machine shop to fabricate and
modify components to restore and improve
the function of your spindle to OEM
specifications

Step 4: Failure Mode Analysis

The written evaluation will conclude with a
detailed failure analysis to help you improve
your manufacturing process and
maintenance programs.

Step 5: Part Replacement & Fabrication

DGI maintains a comprehensive inventory of
replacement parts in stock.
We have also developed a supplier network
in Mexico and internationally to ensure
quality components are available quickly for
your spindle.
DGI will also reverse engineer, fabricate or
modify components to restore your spindle
to like new condition.

Step 6: Assembly
DGI has developed detailed procedures for
many makes/models as well as assembly
fixtures to ensure proper alignment and a
quality assembly.

Step 7: Testing
All systems are thoroughly tested to be sure
they are performing at their best prior to
delivery. A detailed report will be sent with
each spindle as evidence of our attention to

Together, Detroit Global Industries and Gunn Machine & Tool are now offering on-
site taper seat grinding service to all of our Customers in Mexico.
What is On-Site Taper Seat Grinding? We use special precision equipment to
restore the precision and accuracy of machine spindle taper seats on-site, in your
machine, in a few hours. This method eliminates the error of tolerance stacked up
upon assembly and is the most accurate method of grinding the taper seat true to
spindle rotation.

On Site Vibration Testing & Analysis

If the performance of your machine spindle is suspect, DGI can arrange to send
a qualified technician and vibration analyzer kit to your facility to help you
identify possible problems before excessive downtime is experienced.
By knowing the status of your machine spindles you can develop a prioritized
plan for maintenance based on good predictive tools and industry standards. We
will provide a spindle status with detailed analysis and our recommendations for
monitoring and maintenance.
