A direct technical interview was conducted for few people based on their CGPA and the
remaining were asked to write the written test and then qualify for the interview. The
technical interview is one on one and everyone should be prepared to stay till late
evening to attend the interview as it was based on alphabetical order.
Some of the questions asked were-
1. Tell me about yourself? -Prepare a proper answer in hand before itself
2. Being a mechanical engineer why do you want to come to IT sector?
3. Why especially Wipro?
4. If u were given jobs in Infosys, CTS and Wiprowhat do u prefer?
5. Explain about your D&F project and Final year project?
6. I drew it in a paper and explained him.
7. Then questions on D&F projectsince mine was an automobile project. He asked
some basics of it..like
8. What is the composition of petrol and diesel?
9. Which has higher calorific value?
10. Difference between two stroke and four stroke engines?
11. Write a C program to check whether it is a palindrome or not?
12. Are you fine with posting anywhere? Preferred area of location?
13. After the technical interview, few were called for HR interview and basic hr
questions were asked
