Background of Study

(This is a brief statement of the origin of the problem. It is an account describing the

circumstances, which suggested the research. This includes the justification of the selection

or choice of the study or the main reasons for the conduct of the study. It usually starts with

an opening statement about the general/main topic leading to the problem identification and

definition. At the end, a brief statement of a solution is presented to solve the problem with its

corresponding strategy.)

Objectives (General and specific)

(This section presents the General Objective and Specific Objectives. The general objective

captures the title of the study which is subject matter of the study. It must be in response to

solve the main problem presented. It must be broad enough to include all aspects of the

subject matter to be studied or investigated; yet it must be brief and concise as possible. On

the other hand, the specific objectives must be explicit, precise, and expected results are

verifiable. Thus, the criteria of SMART must be carefully considered in setting the specific

objectives, such as for being specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time bound.)

limitations, on the other hand, are the factors which set boundaries or areas covered in the
