GOALS
Mary Reid is located in Potts Camp, MS and is one of 7 elementary schools in Marshall County School District. A

public school serving 110 students in grades K-3rd.

Mary Reid School has an overall school letter grade of B- for the current year of 2016. The overall letter grade is

based on three classroom subjects: Math, Language Arts & Science. According to state standards, 44% of students at this

school are considered proficient in math and/or reading.

Here at Mary Reid we believe open communication with parents is the key to success for our students. Our parents

are involved in most of the decision-making and serve on several committees within the school. We encourage all parents

to get involved in at least one program around the school.

At Mary Reid, we believe it is our duty to build a solid educational foundation for our students. The foundation they

receive at the elementary school is a huge determining factor in their success later in life. Our goal is to meet each child

where they are and grow them each and every day. The mission of Mary Reid is to prepare our children for a successful

future by giving them the skills and tools they need to progress to middle school and beyond because EDUCATING

MINORS IS OUR MAJOR BUSINESS!
