In order to support above however it does require data replication (master and transactional),

Explanation
Facilitates existing BW-IP customers taking advantage of HANA optimizations
while protecting existing investment. No need to re-build
Ability exists to leverage existing BW content and employ certain BW
concepts which are not available with the standard model
Data which exists in SAP BW can be accessed and used for both planning and reporting
without the need for data replication to BPC
Master Data and Meta-Data can be shared between BPC and BW without the need for
replication
Embedded planning supports a multi-key figure model (similar for example to CO-PA)
whereas the standard model uses a single key figure model
SAP BPC Optimized for S/4HANA Finance is built on the embedded model.
SAP provides guidance on transition without re-implementation (how to

Primary Use Case: Financial planning for S/4HANA, based on
the dimensionality of the Universal Journal, where the majority
of the data upon which planning will be performed exists within
the underlying S/4HANA system.
SAP BPC optimized for S/4HANA enables financial planning
capabilities provided by SAP BPC to be seamlessly integrated
in SAP S/4HANA user interfaces and workflows,
Designed to support real time planning and forecasting on key dimensions
within the Universal Journal via real time access to S/4HANA transactional
and Master data without the need for data replication.
Effectively replaces and enhances certain financial planning capabilities
previously available in SAP ERP
Embedded directly within the S/4HANA system itself so as to work directly on
the data within the underlying S/4HANA environment (applicable to both
single system and Central Finance scenarios)

How does this differ from Standard BPC?

Supports real-time access to master data and actuals maintained in SAP S/4HANA facilitating real-time monitoring and analysis thus eliminating
the need for periodic data replication
