Foreword
Thank you for using the CIT-8920 Inductive Conductivity Transmitter
Carefully read the relevant parts of this manual before installation and operation to prevent
wrong operation, measurement error and damage of instrument. Improper installation and
unsuitable flow speed will cause big measurement error, so please read the installation passage in
detail.
This instrument is precise electrochemical measurement, and its installation and operation
should be performed by technicians with relevant professional knowledge.
Difficulties in the process of installation or using please timely contact the service
department.
Be sure to check the complete list and your received actual products, if missing or damaged
please contact the company.
Solemn commitment of the manufacturer
1. The meters quality guarantee is one year from the date of purchasing. During this period, if
the meter has quality problems, manufacturer is responsible for maintenance work for free or
changes it.
2. Manufacturer offers the maintenance service for whole life of the sold meters.
3. If the damage of the meter is caused by the following reasons, it is out of the maintenance
service:
AThe meter is burned or foundered caused by improper usage and maintenance.
BThe meter is refitted or misused without permit.
CThe meter is destroyed under the condition out of companys regulation.
DThe relevant damage caused by choosing the wrong type.
EThe cable damage and rupture caused by improper installation and usage.
F The incorrect measurement of the sensor caused by disconnecting or connecting wires
personally.
GThe inner broken wire caused by indiscreetly disassembling.
When this symbol appears in the manual, means please pay attention to something about the
safe, installation, product function and using
*Without the influence on the operation, any small change or improvement on the products by the
manufacturer will not be notified separately. Please make the object as the standard.

measurement.It is also a remote transmitter which can match with magnetic induction
electrolyte (or percent) .Widely used for continuous measurement of conductivity and
environment.
The sensor has the anti-pollution ability to oil pollution and the process coating
medium. There is no electrode plate directly touch the test solution, so there is no
polarization phenomenon. It will not be affected by the coating or the film form;
The sensor material has the advantages of anti-pollution, high temperature and
corrosion resistance;
The transmitter has a local display function, using 128x64 resolution LCD
Suitable for industrial production needs of the pipeline, sink and other forms of
installation. This sensor also has a variety of installation methods and accessories,
Can output (4 ~ 20) mA analog signal, and can choose to output in the
instrument module has self-learning function, for other unknown curve solution,
the user can calibrate the instrument through the custom function;
Materials that make up sensors and accessories have a variety of options for
different media, temperature range, strong corrosive and hygienic level options,
automatic identification;
concentration and conductivity of the relationship between the solution to achieve the
(primary coil) and a measuring coil (secondary coil). When the alternating current
flows through the primary coil, there will be alternating magnetic field in the
immersed solution, and the secondary coil will sense the alternating current generated

Note: Before inserting the transmitter into the mounting seat, it is necessary to
immerse the front of the sensor with water. It is easy to install by means of water
lubricity, so as to avoid damage to the "O" type seal due to dry friction.
The sensor should be installed directly through the eight-core air socket with

2.1.3 Submerged Installation
The sensor and indicator can realize submerge measurement by using P16-Z
Connect the cable Conduction measurement signal can not be mixed with
at least 30 cm or shielded wire, must use high-quality power supply (after filtering
and adjustment).

case as the picture shows.
2. DC24V respectively 24V (A), 24V (B), internal automatic polarity recognition, EARTH end
close to the ground, to eliminate interference;
3. After the other wiring is completed, tighten the upper case clockwise, while tightening PG9
waterproof lock mother, positioning logo must be aligned.
The transmitter controller and the inductive sensor are the basic ordering unit,
and the sensor mounting kit is the optional unit. Select the sensor and installation kit
for your sensor according to the measurement object and the scene. Please install
the service before ordering. Please design separately according to your needs.

Note: Split sensors are only available for tubing mounting components, and submerged sensors
are available for wall-mounted components, tank-type mounting assemblies and eco-mount
mounting components.

warming coefficient of the medium solution, the instrument can measure the
concentration.
Note: user-defined concentration must contain 2-8 data points (the greater the
