SECUENCIA DIDCTICA

INICIO (10 minutos)

El docente ingresa al aula y saluda a los estudiantes diciendo: Good morning / Good afternoon,
segn sea el caso.
El docente coloca en la pizarra una imagen de la cuidad de Huamanga y le pregunta a los
estudiantes si reconocen la cuidad.
Do you know this city?
Where is it? In the north, south, west or east of Peru?
Is it near or far from Lima?
Los estudiantes dan sus respuestas en voz alta.
Se coloca alrededor de la imagen tarjetas lexicales con informacin acerca de la cuidad.

DESARROLLO (25 minutos)

Luego el docente solicita a los estudiantes leer un texto acerca de una persona que viaj a esta
ciudad:

Hi!
I went to Huamanga last year. I didnt stay in a hotel because I
stayed with my aunt, my uncle and my cousins who live there. I
went sightseeing in the afternoons and I took a lot of photos. My
favourite place was Pampa de la Quinua it was beautiful. I was
only in Ayacucho for a week, so I didnt visit any other places.
Next time, maybe!

Se explica a los estudiantes que recibirn una ficha para realizar una actividad de Listening
Comprehension (anexo 1) relacionada a la cuidad del Cusco.
Escuchan al docente leer un texto (ver Tapescript), para luego responder a las preguntas de la
ficha.
Al trmino de la actividad, comparan sus respuestas en pares. Toda la clase verifica las respuestas.
Se coloca en la pizarra el siguiente texto:

didnt sleep on the plane. When we arrived at our hotel, we slept for nine hours. Yesterday
we went sightseeing. We bought some souveniers for our relatives. We visited some
museums and took a lot of pictures.

Se solicita a los estudiantes que elaboren preguntas utilizando Did they ?, las anoten en sus
cuadernos y las respondan.
Se les indica tambin que las preguntas deben dar respuestas afirmativas y negativas.
El docente modela algunos ejemplos para verificar que los estudiantes hayan comprendido qu
hacer.

Luego, en pares, preguntan y responden a sus compaeros.

pegarla en sus cuadernos.

CIERRE (15 minutos)

El docente comenta a los estudiantes que realizarn una actividad ldica llamada Find someone
who . Para ello, se les entrega una ficha (anexo 4).
Los estudiantes debern encontrar compaeros que hayan realizado o no ciertas actividades.
Se modela la actividad para verificar que todos hayan comprendido qu es lo que tienen que hacer
y cmo lo deben hacer.
El docente monitorea la actividad y brinda apoyo a los estudiantes que lo necesitan.
Al trmino de la actividad, algunos voluntarios reportan la informacin que han recogido.

MY HOLIDAYS IN CUSCO

My family and I arrived in Cusco on Friday morning, at 6:45 a.m. We were

very tired because we got up very early to go to the airport. When we arrived

at our hotel, we slept for some hours. Then we had a delicious breakfast. We

ate bread with cheese and drank milk. Then we walked around the mainsquare.

We saw a group of people dancing typical dances in some streets near the

mainsquare. In the afternoon, we had lunch at 2 p.m. and after that we visited

some museums. In the evening, we went to the cathedral. We took a lot of

photos.

Guess what? Were in Acapulco now! We arrived two days ago and its very hot here. The
beaches in Acapulco are full of people so yesterday we went to Barra Vieja, a small place
about 12 km away. We loved this place because it was very quiet. We watched the sunset
and had dinner on the beach the food was fantastic!
