The 22 year old UC Irvine student,


John Hoang Dinh Vo, went to a rave
in San Bernardino County last year.
He died from acute toxicity from
MDMA. He was the second person
since 2013 to die of ecstasy overdose at
a rave in the San Manuel
Amphitheater. Ecstasy is an extremely
common drug found at raves and
other high energy concerts.
Why:
Ecstasy is a very popular party drug used at
music festivals and concerts
Ecstasy is often laced with many other drugs
and may have varying effects on different
people.
Ecstasy makes people want to dance and be
around people, which is why many users get
dehydrated and have a heatstroke.
