Download Form 539 from http://www.immigration.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/files/i-539.pdf and

ask your spouse to sign it and send it to us. Fill out the form before signing. In Page 3 for Question 2
regarding “how you are supporting yourself…”, please write the following in block letters. “MY SPOUSE
MR/MRS. _______ WHO IS ON H-1B STATUS AND THE BENEFICIARY OF THE H-1B PETITION
FILED WITH THIS I-539 APPLICATION HAS BEEN FINANCIALLY SUPPORTING ME AND WILL
CONTINUE TO SUPPORT ME.”
